I have saw this brand floating around for a short time. I had the opportunity to try The Pioneer Woman Vintage Floral Ceramic Cutlery Set through Spark review and I am so happy to have tried this set! The butcher knife is perfectly painted with flowers. The knife is very sharp on both sides and it will cut through a full sized ham with no problem! The small pairing knife is excellent for pealing potatoes like grandma use too! It also comes with a beautiful very sharp on both sides and painted with a white paint showing beautiful decal painting. I have washed both of these knifes. I do recommend in drying them off after each wash before storing away. These knifes came in the Red as they do also come in Blue. Both set of knifes are stainless steal and both set of knives are sharp to the touch. These also give a beautiful decoration for our Holiday meals. Both sets of knifes also come with a nice plastic cover to hold them in for looks and storage. I had a Ham set out for our family reunion and they looked beautiful sitting beside of the Ham and pies. I did use the pairing knife to peal my potatoes. I do want to get the other collections now that is made by this company. Very, very pleased! Please see photos, they are very nice and beautiful!
These knives are the most beautiful knives I have ever owned! The set includes a 3" paring knife, and a 6" Chef's knife, and each knife has it's own sheath, for safety and protection. These are the first ceramic knives I have owned, as well. They cut very well- smoothly and easily. I really like the no-slip ergonomic handles- they are very comfortable to use. Because they are ceramic and this is my first set, I read the care and use instructions. The knives should only be hand-washed, and not placed in a dishwasher. They may break if dropped on a hard surface, and they should only be used on appropriate surfaces, like wood, silicone, or rubber ( I follow this rule for all of my working cutlery, anyway). Precautions include not using them to pry, debone or cut frozen food, as twisting them can also chip or break them. I am very, very pleased with these knives, and I think it will be a joy to use them every day. I think the only difficult part will be putting them away in a drawer when I am not using them! I plan to look into some of the Pioneer Woman dinnerware, as well, since they are so pretty! I recommend these to anyone who wants ceramic knives. The bonus is the beautiful design. These would make a beautiful gift, too!
I received this Pioneer Woman Spring Bouquet 2-piece ceramic cutlery set and must start by saying these are beautiful! Absolutely Gorgeous! The Spring Bouquet design is so pretty. The ceramic blades are covered in colorful spring flowers that look like they were painted on by hand. The colors are beautiful. The handles are a deep royal or true blue color. These have to be the smoothest and most comfortable knife handles. They feel great in my hand and are very easy to use. The packaging says they are ergonomic. This set comes with 2 different sized knifes. The larger one is a 6 inch Chef's knife and the smaller one is a 3 inch paring knife. Perfect combination for any home kitchen! These are the first ceramic knives I have ever had. I love that since they are ceramic they are rust free, my metal knives are always getting rusty. I also love that because they are ceramic you never need to sharpen them. One thing I want to mention is these are hand wash only, but most good knifes are. I really like that these knives both come with nice thick protective plastic sleeves or covers that also have a floral design. I really like this safety feature and it also helps protect the knives while you are storing them. This is the first Pioneer Woman product I have ever had. I have admire her items in the store and shears thought they were pretty. I absolutely love these knives! Who know knives could be so pretty. I would defiantly recommend to everyone and hope to purchase more Pioneer Woman products in the future.
These are such beautifully made knives that will really enhance your kitchenware. They both have an attractive floral pattern to them. This comes with a 3" Paring Knife & a 6" Chef Knife. The blades are rust proof and you should only hand wash them & not place them in your dishwasher. Both of the knives come with a blue cover to protect them from nicks or scratches when you are not using them. This also protects your hands when you reach in your drawer to get one of them out. You need to always clean them after each use & be sure to use only water or detergent. Do not use any abrasives on them. Your knives can possibly break if you happen to drop them onto a hard surface. Your ceramic knife is similar to a piece of glass & will break if you hit it on a hard surface. Do not use your knives to scrape off food from a cutting board & if needed, use only the back edge of the knife. Also do not use your ceramic knives to debone a chicken or to cut frozen food. Doing this will only result in chipping the blade or the blade breaking. These knives are very comfortable to hold and fit great in your hands. I cut a steak in my skillet (made sure I did not cut all the way to the iron skillet itself to harm it) and it sliced it like a dream. Cutting a potato up for making mashed potatoes was very easy. I know I will get plenty of use from these 2 knives and so glad I chose to order them.
The Cutlery set has a great design to decorate any kitchen. Comes with a design cover to protect the sharp edge. They are sharp and light to handle. Be careful the decor of the knife draws kids attention so make sure you keep them out of reach of little wondering hands. Great set.
These knives are sharp and cut veggies and meat very well. The design on the knife blade and covers are adorable and look great with my kitchen décor. The handle is a soft rubber that doesn't feel slippery when used with wet hands. I can do most chopping and cutting jobs with these two knives and not feel like I need more in the set as they are very versatile. Be sure to check the cleaning recommendations as they require a little bit of care to keep them looking nice and stay sharp for longer.
These are the only 2 knives I now use in my kitchen. You receive a 6 inch chef's knife and a 3 inch paring knife with sheaths for both. They both have very stable handles which make it so comfortable to hold and get the chopping and cutting done. They are ceramic which means they will never need sharpening. Would be a perfect gift or stocking stuffer to the cook in your life.
When I ordered these knives I thought they were very stylish and cute. When they arrived, they did not disappoint! I love the Pioneer Woman motif, especially in red! The knives arrived nice and sharp; they cut through pork like butter! The instructions I received said to keep the knives sharp and wipe them clean and rinse; and to immediately dry them. No dishwasher and no soaking in the dishwater. Which, in my experience is very typical of good knives. I appreciate the stainless steel is non porus which will prevent rust, staining, and bacteria growing on the knives. I took them with me to a potluck for my dish and just love the little rose cutouts on the sleeves; a couple ladies even commented how cute they were! I will also say that the larger knife is not a huge chef knife; those can be kind of intimidating to use. But sometimes a pairing knife just is not big enough! So these two knives really are awesome and a perfect pair! The handles are easy to hold properly and the overall feel is not too heavy or light so they allow great control of the knives while using them!

The Pioneer Woman Frontier Rose 2-Piece Cutlery Set is a really cute set of knives. It comes with two knives: a big sized knife and a small sized knife. Both knives come with a cute blue rose detailed covering (sheath) where you are able to slip the knives back into after using. This makes the knives stylish, safe and convenient. The knife itself also have really elegant blue and pink floral (roses) details/design on it. Typically I prefer chic and simple looking knives, but these knives offer a more cute touch (remind me of tea parties). The knives are pretty sharp and durable. In addition, these knives have a slight curve to the handle to provide better grip when using them. According to the product description, these powerful and precise knives are made of lightweight stainless steel, which means that they will not rust or stain and are easy to clean (how awesome is that?!) Overall, I really like using these knives to cut vegetables and fruits (or any desert related foods such as cake, brownies, etc.) If you are looking for a little cute lighthearted touch to your kitchen, get these rose knives.
