I love this product! I've been buying it- at a higher price- from a local grocery store & was thrilled to see it at Walmart. Here is a tip- cook as directed, then add some cubes of cooked chicken cutlet ( I get frozen chicken & cook it, then cube) & a few spoons of Sun Luck Thai Peanut Sauce, & it tastes as good as ( if not better than) the Noodles & Comoany Thai Peanut noodle w/chicken meal. Plus, you can add more chicken or even another box if the noodles & keep stretching it out. I will do this & get at least 3 meals, which are delicious. When I bring to work for lunch, everyone thinks it's leftovers from a fancy Thai restaurant. I like a strong peanut taste, so I add a few spoons of peanut sauce; if you like it milder you can add less. I do recommend adding some as the sauce that comes with it is very mild & tends to cook into the noodles, but it's the closest to restaurant-tasting peanut sauce I've found. It's very easy to make, really can't mess it up, cooks in the box, & makes a good amount of noodles. Only other problem- I went back yesterday, & they were sold out!
I always cook this stove top. Microwave just isn't as good. And I add a little more water than it calls for. Still one of my favorite "fast foods".
This is absolutely my favorite Thai boxed meal! The spice is just right and the peanuts are crunchy and not stale. If you make it in the box, definitely break the rice noodles in half so they will sink into the sauce. I also add an extra 1/4 cup water so there will be enough sauce. Simply delicious!
This is one of my favorite quick meals. I do wish Walmart carried the other flavors at this price but beggars can't be choosers. Having Celiac disease I always have to look for gluten free options and this is one of my favorites. It is quick and easy to fix and I enjoy it. Walmart.com got the order to my store even quicker than they said they would. Overall a pleasant experience.
These noodles are a lunchtime staple for me. It is quick to make while I'm at work and tastes great. My coworkers always comment on how good it smells. I also like to add in tofu (since I'm vegetarian).
I prepare these noodles in the microwave but I simmer frozen shrimp on the stovetop to add. They are even better with shrimp! I wish Walmart carried some of the other flavors as well.
Suddenly could not find this item on the shelf at Walmart...I guess securing shelf space is at a premium there(??) so looked online and there it was. Fast order and convenient store pick up! Thanks! Super tasty with grilled shrimp, scrambled egg white with scallions and cilantro on top...and a squeeze of lime juice...yum!
I miss my favorite Thai restaurant since moving to Florida and have found that A Taste of Thai makes an excellent Peanut Noodle meal. The flavors are mouth-watering, so authentic and delicious. And easy to make in the microwave. I would recommend this to everyone who hasn't tried Thai foods - this should be your first experience. It will definitely turn you onto Thai foods.
For instant noodles, the flavor was pretty good but the noodles themselves didn't feel like they fully cooked but cooking it longer would have meant there'd be almost no liquid/sauce in it.
I love these noodles! But did not receive my order in full! I ordered 12 boxes, and they sent me 2 boxes! 2 $4 boxes of noodles for $37! I was ripped off! Walmart is allowing shady sellers like LRB Super Store on their platform! LRB Super Store ad CLAERLY says (6x5.25oz) boxes per order. I order 2 orders which is twelve boxes of noodles! Why is Walmart allowing criminals to sell on their platform! Look at the reviews! LRB has been intentionally scamming people on Wart website! Please remove LRB Super Store from your platform Walmart!
