This dvd bring back all of those memories when me and brothers use to run home from school just to watch Transformers, Thunder Cats and Woody WoodPecker.
I purchased this DVD for my 5 yr old son. I am comfortable with him watching this "old school cartoon" rather than the new Transformer blockbusters. I love that they don't use "slang", Megatron actually has proper english! :) I choose to purchase this DVD at Walmart because it cost $9 cheaper than my local Target store. Although this product DID NOT have site to store shipping it was still cheaper than purchasing DVD at Target Store! LOVE WAL-MART!
My son loves these DVD's and he can't stop watching them! I will buy the second season for him as well.
Nice cover art and my son loves everything Transformers. It gives a brief synopsis of each episode before hand so you know what you're watching. It was fun watching old ads and behind the scenes of the making of the Transformers along with sketch art. It looks way better than when it was originally on TV in the 80s. No true transfan or anyone just beginning to enjoy them should be without it. The only disappointment was there was only one of the 6 public service announcements from when they aired on TV in the 80s.
My grandson enjoyed this DVD. Not as graphic or violent as current DVDs, therefore more appropriate for a younger age group.
If you Love the original Transformers then you will love this selection. It is a must have in any great cartoon series collection. The enhanced sound and video quality was excellent. Great Buy!
This was one of my favorite shows when i was a kid and watching it now along with the movies makes me feel like a child again.
All I have to say, is it's about time they produce these!!! Buy it if you love the original transformers!!
I ordered this earlier in the month and got it VERY QUICKLY! this was a show that I grew up watching and loved it even then as I still do today! the menu is easy to use the only thing I have a hard time with the special features is trying to print the printable script. but other than that I love everything about the DVD. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see what started the franchise more than I would the newer versions which for some reason I just have trouble taking to.
These cartoons are a lot of fun!
