The neck is set-thru with a thin U contour made of 3-piece mahogany topped with a Macassar ebony fretboard. The EC-1000 is a promising guitar that will deliver comfort, and absolute playability with amazing tonal options. Excellent Hardware The LTD locking tuners are a great feature for this guitar for those of you who want an easy-string change system, as well as tension for your strings to be balanced.
