My grand chlideren received Wii's this Christmas. One of the games used the Buzz Gun. They have had so much fun with the gun you just wouldn't believe it. I'll probably order at least 2 more in a few weeks.
This gun broke the first day we used it.With a little tinkering we fixed it,and it works good. The lazer won't line up with the target, but you can do away with the scope target and use just the lazer(with alittle fine tuning in the settings). It is rather large and clumsy, and I choose not to use it (or any ) but my husband and his friends use all the guns we have purchased for the wii. This one is the favorite of all.We own the zapper and the nerf pistol also.
The only thing I did not like about this product is that the back part moves around.
it broke, the first game I played... however it was easy to fix the plastic piece of the trigger is what broke and a little "hard as steel" puddy did the trick to make a new piece now stronger than ever... other note is that the back half cradle that holds the nunchuck tilts and swivels, and if your playing a game that you shake to reload this could mean your reloading accidentally during the enemy attack... all and all not bad, but personally I stick with either the zapper or the crossbow when i need the nunchuck however if you don't need the nunchuck they sell a pistol that holds the wii remote that i love the best...
This laser gun cannot be used for all games that involve shooting, which I did not know when it was purchased. The sliding piece that allows the player to select various options for shooting fell off before its first use. Fortunately, it can be put back on easily - if it isn't lost before the player notices it is gone. I don't know how long it will last here. The laser is good, though, and my son enjoys using it. However I would probably not purchase it again - I'd go ahead and buy the actual Wii product, which is what I thought I was purchasing. I did not know that CTA was the brand - thought it was some sort of gaming initials - couldn't ask my kids since it was going to be a gift. At least it works and is being used, and my son seems to be happy with it!
use the free site to store because you won't be able to find it in the stores! great gun for the price! BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THE LASER BEAM CAN MESS UP CERTAIN TV'S! OVERALL GOOD GUN.
states it needs AA batteries but needs AAA batteries
I purchased the buzz gun with laser beam for my son for Christmas this year. In less than a week, the trigger broke off. Now I have the ordeal of sending it back to Walmart, along with having the cost of shipping. I know someone else who bought the same gun, with the same result, a broken trigger. My advice, don't waste your money.
This product is just a waste of money. Like the other review, the switch to turn the laser on and off fell off before use. The trigger sticks ALL the time and will continue to fire off without even pressing the trigger. Vibration did not work ever. I returned this and bought the Wii Zapper (made by Nintendo) and am much happier for it.
