This is good to have for the classic games like Super Smash Brothers.
I got the Wing Controller 2 weeks ago and after using the normal Wii Classic Controllers this controller hands down has better control over the normal classic controller. I love how I don't have to be confined to the remote to use this controller. I have never had any lag in any games I've played and the shape conforms to your hand so it is easy to pick up and play. I would highly recommend this product. Hands down beats the original Wii Classic Controller.
Looked around for a wireless controller for the Wii and came up with nothing that felt right or had good reviews. Took a chance on this little baby and it fits the bill. It is for the Wii only by the way. It's sort of like the classic controller by Nintendo, but wireless. Buy one and give one as a gift! Perfect for kids!
I absolutely love this remote. The fact that it's sold for $29.99 everywhere else made the purchase even better. It works great. You don't have to worry about it constantly going out of sync like some other remotes that I bought. I loved it so much I went and purchased two for my sister and bought two more for my self.
It's great to use for the older games. I love it and recommend you get one.
I think these controllers rock. I just wish that you could use them on more of the games. It is so much easier to control the games. I think it would be great for more of the games to give you a choice on what you want to use.
I bought the Nyko Wing to play Virtual Console games and it works admirably for those and Wii games that use the classic controller. There are no problems synching between the wiimote or nyko wing and it is pleasantly small and about the same size as a Playstation controller minus the slanted grips. The buttons spring back without sticking and the analogs are responsive as well as the digital pad. If you are within about 15-20 of the wiimote the connection is fine and you never have a cord in the way unlike with the Classic Controller. The biggest drawback though is there is no way to gauge battery life, the battery life still only displays for the remote, not the Wing and it seems to eat batteries quickly. I averaged about 12 to 15 hours of life using cheap AAAs and got around 20 with energizers, still 1/3 less than the claim of up to 30 hours. Of course your wiimote is also using battery life but no more than it typically does. Would recommend for the convenience of not having to chain a controller to a remote to play vc games but expect to use lots of batteries if you use it alot.
I bought this controllor so i can use the joy stick to play the pac-man on Wii, its not what i expected i thought joy stick will respond better, but not- work ok on other games
I purchased two of these because I liked the price and the overall look of the controller. After receiving them in the mail, I was surprised that they didn't come with a way to recharge them. But I reread the description and noticied that they have the ability to be recharged if you supply your own rechargeable batteries and a cable. It might actually be worth investing in the rechargeable option if you intend to use this for extremely long playing sessions. They tend to go through regular AAA batteries quickly. And take note of the fact that these controllers do not sync to the Wii console, but they sync to the included dongle that connects to a Wiimote. But I challenge anyone to find a wireless classic controller for $13.
