Works perfectly! Been used like crazy since it was gifted and it works like a brand new one! Very Happy with this purchase! I bought a protection plan because it is so affordable as I do with any electronics! But I Doubt it will be used.
I can't believe how much fun this game system is, and the best part is the games get you up out of your chair to play. I Have been a game player for many years and this is by far Nintendo's best system, and the fact that you can download some of the best of the old games is a real asset.
Ever since this product came out I wondered if it was going to actual be worth it to own one or if it was just a passing fad. After seeing them fly off the shelves and fielding phone calls as to whether or not we had them in stock, I finally broke down and decided to get one. Let me just say, it was worth it! I bought the Wii/Wii Fit bundle and could not be happier. My husband and I are having a blast playing on it together and seeing who can get the highest score. The Fit enables us to start an exercise program without the cost of joining a gym. Although the controls do take some time getting used to, overall I would definitely recommend this product and say that it is definitely worth it.
The nintendo wii has given me the inititive to lose weight and go on with my daily life more productively. My boyfriend and I always fight when we spend too much time together and he isn't the best at video games. I am not the best at exercise. When we both get off work in the morning, the game is on! We are ususally in bed right after we get home and now, we are up for hours more trying to outdo each other and having the most fun. My friends are excited when they and their children come over to play cause their kids are worn out and sore from all the exercise. My aunts memmory is locked into the wii forever. We lost her in october and everytime we play over at my grandmothers house, she is there playing right along with us. That, you cannot get anywhere! I recommend this game to anyone!
My first taste of any Nintendo product and I just love it. I recommend it to all my friends and so far I am happy having the sports games that came with it and the WII Play game. In time I bet I get more games but I can play for a couple of hours without even knowing where the time went.
I recently had a family visit from my parents who are 73 years old and never played video games before. Dad (73 years old), My daughter (5 years old) and I (37 years old) played Wii sports for hours. It was a lot fun and was a great alternative to watching TV. I highly reccommend.
Bought the Wii bundle for the family for Yule and not a day has gone by that all of us haven't had a turn playing it! It is by far the best gaming platform with its interactive hardware. THe only draw back that I have come across with this game is that some games do not support multiple players and there seems to be a lack of software titles that are designed for young players (under 8 years old). Definitely a wise investment for our family!
I was kind of skeptical about getting the Wii, especially because of the price. But now that I have it, I am glad that I did. There are numerous games that interact with the kids and they don't just sit down and play. Most of the games require that you stand up and use your arms and body parts to play and it is good exercise. My 6 & 12 yr old love it and they tell me that they are sometimes sore from the workout. I would recommend this product.
My Wii console arrived on time, and works OK except for several dozen vetical colored lines overlayed on all screens. Nintendo replaced the Wii console, but the lines remain. Connecting direct to my HDTV or via my Yamaha AV receiver delivers the same results. My TIVO, DVD player, etc. all continue to display fine - only the Wii has this problem, making it unacceptable.
Nothing good happened at all with this order. First it said it was delivered over two before it was actually delivered. Then I received basically junk. Power cords were in terrible shape and didn't fit into console. I immediately contacted Walmart to start the return process and most definitely won't be ordering from this outfit again.
