Dude, this game is awesome! I grew up playing video games, starting with Atari. I haven't been interested in anything lately, but this game just what I've been waiting for. I talk about Guitar Hero III at work, and can't wait to play it when I get home. Graphics are great, game play is fantastic, I love the songs. I need more songs though. Battle mode is my favorite.
Just like the other Guitar Hero games this one simply rocks, so many new songs, new Venues, and even boss battles. Taking this game online was also another great idea, why smack talk your freinds at how hard you can shred when you can smack talk a guy on the other side of the world! Good music, great graphics, and a fun game to play no matter what your playing level. Best part of the game is playing against the Devil, and beating him at the song. "Devil went down to Georgia."
A guitar and guitar hero 3 for just $50..... that's the best value I ever got. The game is great the guitar is nice, its just a better value at Walmart than any other retailer.
A wonderful game for teens
This Product is great, i mean good music, Good graphics and a great price for something you will enjoy for some time. This game is perfect for competive game play with someone. Though the Difficult level rised up Excessively Its still probably one of the best selling games out there. TTFAF is the hardest song on expert which frantic use of all the Frets. Bottom line -------------- Get this product -------------- Not Recommended for Beginners
this game is good for keeping teenagers busy while you are doing other things. They played it over and over again. The have beaten the game on hard and expert in 4 days. All their friends have it and they come over and play or they battle over the internet. The songs on III is a better selection than II for us old folks of the 80's. Overall it was a good investment and not a game they will want to recycle any time soon.
I bought this so I could have a second guitar for the Rock Band game. We like this guitar better than the Rock Band guitar. Guitar Hero game is very fun too. Kids and adults in my house love it. I wasn't pleased with the packaging though. It was a christmas gift and when it arrived at the house, the Guitar Hero 3 logo was visible through the top of the box, ruining the surprise.
We got this for our college son, but it ended up being played by all our kids over the holidays. With it's many levels, from beginner to expert it can be used by all ages from about 8 on up. With XBox Live you can download a ton of new songs as well, so the game will never go stale. Pricewise, as with most video games, the price is the same no matter where you go. When the next version comes out, then GHIII will drop. However, it's worth the money, just for the fun it brings.
I bought this for the whole family, I thought it would be fun, but I didn't realize it would be this fun.Everyone loves it - you can't sit on the couch to play this one - you can try - but you'll be standing with a grin on your face! I downloaded a chritmas song just so I could pratice and play it for the season!
I think the bundle is good but my feeling is terrible. I think the new Les Paul Wireless Guitar is better. It has wireless actions and it's more accurate. Still...don't forget to check your equipment and if you don't have any Guitar Hero games for Xbox 360, you can get the Wired Guitar Bundle which will be good for beginners with Xbox 360.
