Cats are hesitant to use the door. Took the door off and the cats are fine. Like the way the lid flips up for easy scooping. Glad to have a handle so that it can be carried. The top fits well and we have one cat that "sprays" against the side and this one doesn't leak. Last one did and would have to clean floor.
Perfect for my large ginger cat. He tended to hang his hind quarters over the side of the regular box even though it was the largest size we could find. He has plenty of room to stand up in this box and it has ended problems with urine on the floor. No need for the cheap rugs we were constantly buying for his "spills". We did take the door off.
Retractable lid makes for easy cleaning. Filter helps alot with a touch of Febreze. Large littler box but fits good in small area. Great price for item worth the money. Would definitely recommend to people with big kitties. P.S. Just work on ya'lls shipping took 3 tries to get my order right.
This is the most awesome litter box I have ever seen it is huge so make sure you have enough room for it and I do mean it's big but I have arthritis and cleaning the litter box is just painful for me but the filter on the top lifts up so I can reach in and clean it without having to take the lid off move the Box the whole bit it is wonderful especially if you have a large cat or more than one
This box is large but still able to fit in a tight spot. With the door and filter I don't get any odor in the room. Seriously, it is like night and day and my cat doesn't cover anything. I love not having to take the whole lid off to clean (like on my previous hooded box). The interior seems to be non-stick so getting the clumps that are glued to the sides has been effortless. I am not sure if this will stay that way with repeated use. I don't have to scoop it every day with the extra space and such little odor. There is a ledge to hook plastic bags but I don't use this feature. It takes a lot of litter to fill the box so have plenty on hand when 1st setting it up. Lastly, the lid swings nicely and deters our dog from trying to stick his head inside.
Ordered this from Walmart.com. However, when it arrived there was only the top, no bottom. Sent it back. Have a replacement that arrived yesterday. Cats like it okay, enough room for my 18 pound lames cat. So easy to clean without removing the top. Just fold back the hinged part. Didn't think cats would appreciate the door so I removed the door.
My babies just love the new hooded litter pan. plenty of room and no accidents outside of pan. no excess litter on floor. Just Great all around. But with the litter inside of pan you cannot pick up with the handle because the top will come off.... outside of that Good litter pan
The hood has 4 locking pieces, I received mine with only 3 so now I won't be able to carry it around. I would recommend to a friend if all the pieces were included.
This litterbox is awesome. Never thought I'd say that about a cat box. The bag holder edge and easy lid mean I'm not getting used litter or setting a urine coated lid on my floor when I scoop. However I'm giving this a 1 star as a warning to others... I ordered this shipped free to my local store. When the employee opened the shipping box, only the LID was on there. No base to pour in litter. Whoever packed my order must have been clueless or having a chuckle at my expense. A litterbox without a bottom "box"?! Apparently they thought I should just pour litter on the floor. The store quickly refunded me.... but, I ordered from Amazon. Paid $1 more but I got an entire box (on the first try) in 2 days. I couldn't risk another 7 day wait for a complete litter box.
the litter box arrived without the bottom - just the top :-( looks like a good box but had to return it and re-order wish me luck!
