My doctor suggested these to me a long time ago. When I recently experienced foot pain, I ordered these again and they are great for relieving foot pain.
I walk for a living - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. I had hurt my heel - somehow - and it was becoming more and more difficult to stand or walk. I was limping! And I was afraid I had some serious damage. I took a chance and bought the heel cup inserts. Now, my pain is minimized, walking is easier - I am not straining to keep going. All this, in 2 days with these inserts! It's amazing - seriously. Relieving the pain and discomfort was what I had hoped. I got more than that. I appreciate this product, and will gladly buy again as needed. Thank you, Dr Scholl's!
It's been really difficult trying to find OTC solutions for my feet that have no heel bones. Being that there is nothing surgically that can correct this, these gel cups were a happy discovery. They are working great; and if I need to, they double up nicely so my insteps are comfortable as well. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone who has a problem with their heels.
I have had heel pain for weeks, right on the Achilles attachment. I saw these at the store and thought I would try them. OMG..! What a difference..! I took 2 acetaminophen, put the heels in my sneakers and went to work. I worked ABSOLUTELY PAIN FREE ALL DAY, and it's still pain free at 8 PM. These gels put the cushion right where my pain was originating from and prevented irritation all day. My heel has not felt this good in MONTHS, after only 1 day. I doubt I will need a pain meds tomorrow. THESE ARE FANTASTIC..! THANK YOU...!
I had serious heel pain for almost a half a year in my right foot. During my vacation in the US this summer, I bought these cups and after using them for a couple of week, my heel pain has vanished. A pitty I can't find them here in the Netherlands. In the US every supermarket has them... Thank you Dr. Scholl
this is just to say "thank you" Dr Scholls. when I planned to walk/hike the 826km Camino Santiago from France and across Spain, taking my Dr Scholls inserts was a "for sure'. I finished the camino in 21 days and 6 hours, without a single injury. for my entire 35 day trip to europe, which included the 21 day camino #most of it in rugged terrain, forests, mountains, etc.#, i walked in my brooks GTS running shoes, with inserts inside. I believe this was key in my accomplishing my goal and doing so injury-free and feeling so good, that the day after, I am back to running! I am so happy...delighted! I was feeling so good that I went on to Finisterre and Muxia...the towns considered to be "the end of the world", adding another 120 km, for a total of 950+km in 24 days...all with my inserts. the inserts make my shoes feel like 2 pairs of shoes...I put them in, shoes feel one way, I take them out, shoes feel another way. this variety makes it feel like I am switching shoes, without carrying another shoe, without the extra weight of another shoe in your bag...which is a major thing on such a long trek. #I continued to travel/walk and run throughout spain and morocco for the remainder of my trip#. again, thank you. your inserts were, and are, a key component to my walking/running injury-free, success. you are welcome to use this as a testimony. I also think that with thousands flocking to do the Camino #and there are 6 caminos to Santiago - portugese route, French route, English route, pyrenees route...etc#, there is an opportunity here for Dr. Scholls. you could market a "Camino Inserts set" - this could be a new niche for Dr. Scholls and I think it could help many people have a better camino/hike experience. It would be fun to work with you on this. :-) oh, and BTW - I returned from Spain today and, while there is a tradition to burn clothes/shoes/accessories at the end of the camino, i'm still wearing my same Dr. Scholls inserts! thank you!
these gel cups are nice and i can definitely feel a difference when walking in them for a few hours, but i can't get them to stay in place. they're fine as long as my feet are in my boots and laced up nice and snug, but they slip around and fall out as soon as i take the boots off. i wish there was a way to make them stick in place better. other than that, they're pretty good.
My job requires me to be on my feet all day, usually standing on concrete. When I began to have constant pain in my heel I was worried that I would have to miss work to have the problem corrected. I started wearing Dr. Scholl's® Massaging Gel™ Heel Cups in my work shoes several months ago and within days the pain was completely gone. I haven't had a single problem since. My only complaint is that the insoles often shift inside my shoes and I have to adjust them daily.
"Light construction" is correct. Having worn Dr. Scholl's heel cushions in the past, I still have a couple of the old ones. These new ones do not provide the cushion the old ones do. As other reviews have stated, the don't stay put in the shoe. They move around.
Sides too flimsy to stay upright. When I slide my foot I to my shoe, they fold under my heels and make the feel very uncomfortable
