The size is very manageable for scooping waste from the litter box. Reinforced design gives this scoop strength and stability when removing waste.
I like this design...I am enjoying less mess... Very big/deep scooper can scoop more with greater efficiency
I ordered this because I have multiple cats and need a large scoop. Even though I scoop the litter box twice a day, it can get full quickly. When I received this, I was so upset. I ordered it because it states large, so I was under the impression it was bigger than a normal sized scoop, but its not. It is just as small as the small ones you buy. It isn't any larger than the regular, one cat scoop. Very disappointed....and definitely would not recommend if your looking for a scoop on the "large" size as the description states. It is very small and I couldn't use it for my needs.
I like the design but the scoop is much smaller than I wanted or thought it would be. It is a little thinner plastic than I thought.
Sorry, but it's not good. You're not alone though. EVERYONE sells sub-par litterbox scoopers. I've tried metal, hard plastic, soft plastic, different shapes and sizes...and they're all cheapos. The main problem is this: My two cats, when going "number one", will dig to the very bottom of the cat litter box and then pee on the plastic. When done, they cover it up like most cats do. The problem is that the pee sticks like glue to the plastic of the litter box. That means the litter scooper has to be built STRONG so that it can scrape the pee off in order to correctly clean the box. I have been using one plastic scooper for 12 years. It even came with a holder that I screwed into the wall next to the litter box, and the scooper is always there and ready to use. And the plastic is not easily breakable---it's built to last. But even after 12 years, things are going to break. This particular scooper is the 7th type that I've tried, and every single one of them breaks on the first try. I sure wish I knew where to buy the type of scooper that I've been using for 12 years. I've about to throw this new one away because I doubt I could get a refund since it's broken? I would love to have a refund if Jet does refunds for things like this. Anyone know for sure?
I liked the design of the solid bottom edge of the scoop, but the plastic is SO flimsy that it made the job of scooping anything out of the litter not very secure. Would not recommend this scoop.
This is not large, it is tiny. Small handle, small scoop. I will use it for traveling but never buy again.
My husband and I purchased this at our local Walmart... we were looking forward to me using it because I was having too many ergonomic problems with the scooper we did have. Got it home - started using it that night - it broke, clean in half. So much for heft = reliability.
