My oldest kid turned 3 yrs old, and was overdue for a big kid car seat. But this time I wanted the best car seat, one that I knew I wasn't going to change my mind or that would be uncomfortable for my son. When this car seat came out I read every review there was on it and decided this would be the one. My kids car seat is important because I make frequent trips from Orlando to Miami (4 hour drive). The previous car seat he had; when he would fall asleep his head would be boping from side to side and he would eventually start to cry that he wanted out. Yesterday, we tried the car seat coming home from Miami and not a peep or a sound. He fell asleep from the moment I strapped him in. I checked on him often and was amazed that he his head wasn't all over the place, I still can't believe it. Usually he gets out of the car seat cranky and crying, but this time he was actually happy and I don't think he even noticed he was in a car seat for so long. I truly am amazed and will buy this car seat for my other kids when its time!! The car seat is extremely simple to install, yet it feels secure. The materials are soft, not like fabric against a plastic seat like others. The bottom portion is nothing I expected from the pictures, it is actually see thru flexible fabric that molds to your child's body. It has guides which are in red that make sure the seat belt is positioned correctly. When the the seat is described as air flows thru it, they really weren't lieing, the design of the seat and materials are genius!
I havent had this carseat for long but i already love it! it was really easy to put together i think and my son figured out right away that it reclines and he didnt throw a fit about getting into the carseat after the first time he tried it out. i am taking it on a long road trip this weekend and i am hoping it will be nice and comfortable for him and everytime i ask him if he enjoys it he tells me he does and he loves acting like a big boy. i defently think it was worth the money. :)
I researched all stores and reviews i could find on Booster carseats. We finally decided on this one. (Consumer Reports had rated this one of the best) We have had the carseat for about 2 weeks my son is 3. We love this car seat, it is so easy to put in and out to change cars. It is very sturdy and nice looking, but very lightweight. Great Great Quality. Every time we go to get into the car my son says "I love my new seat" he can get into it very easy he says it is very comfortable. He loves the little cup holders and arm rest. I love that when he falls asleep the sides come up around his head so his head does not fall forward at all, it rest on the sides. The design is diffrent than most seats. It will be alot easier to keep clean. Today i just orderd another one for my mother to have in her car.
This seat is great! I had a hard time connecting the backrest to the base, but other than that the set up was a breeze. My daughter loves the seat and is very comfortable in it. The headrest is just right for her head to fall on when asleep. Very easy to buckle her in - which is great after months of buckling her in her old convertible car seat, which was large and hard to get the belt around. A little spendy for what you get, but I'm not disapppointed!
Easy to install, good service and Grandson approved. Got another, same model different color no problems.
My 6-year year just loves this new seat. The mesh 'floating' seat is a lot more comfortable and she can move her bottom around a little which really helps on long trips! She loves being able to wear the 'real' seatbelt and buckle herself in.
We have not had this seat very long but my son loves it. We are getting ready to take a trip and wanted him to be comfortable. He wants to sit in seat, and that says a lot about a car seat. He is a hot natured child and gets hot riding and this seat really prevents that. It is easy to install and I would recommend this to every parent that has a child to is difficult to get in their car seat.
I love this booster seat. I love the new design. It is like my chair at work. My 3 year old is big so I decided to buy this seat after reading many reviews of all the boosters avail. I like the testing done on the turboboosters from graco which are recommended by consumer reports. The only difference I see in this design really is the flex-comfort seat. It definitely looks more comfortable than the turbobooster and any others that I have seen. I was so hesitant for this change from the 5pt harness to the seatbelt. My other concern was if this seat would recline and it does. I have traveled for 3.5 hours with my son and no complaints; his head was rested to the side, no flopping around. I do worry sometimes when he sleeps because then he slouches a little bit rather then sitting upright and I always make sure the seat belt is still on this shoulder versus his neck. The only reasons I am not giving this a five star is for the poor design of how the seat reclines; the grooves don't hold it very well, for example if you where moving the seat, the back could then fall back. I was so worried that I looked at this thing several times to make sure it was in the last groove for recline and did not pass it when I reclined my bucket seats in my odyssey. Also, you have to move it by holding the handles or the back can come off, but those 2 things are kind of small when it comes to safety. I just purchased another airbooster for my husband's car since it has passed the test. It also doesn't go flying anywhere when you turn. I only have a towel underneath to protect the seat. Definitely a great buy!!!
I love this car seat! My son who is 4 loves it as well. He says that it is comfy! Like another reviewer I agree that the back should lock when it reclines, so therefore it is not a perfect five star rating although it is the closet to perfect that I have seen in a car seat and believe me I have reviewed many. It is a great car seat and lives up to its claims, except that it does need to lock. The car seat is safe and has exceeded crash test standards. If you are looking for a seat that is safe and "comfy" go ahead and purchase this. Plus it is a very attractive seat.
