It's a steamer and mini food processor combo. Pretty sweet. I saved a ton on baby food and I use it for other stuff, too. Easy to clean.
I bought this item and am so happy I did. So easy to use and clean and all my baby food is done and does not take forever and use a ton of dishes. Love how all the steaming and blending is done with the touch of a button and in one container. No messy clean up fast and easy to use. Definitely a time saver. Comes with a recipe booklet that also tells you how long each veggie, fruit, or meat needs to be steamed for. This was over-all worth the money. Could not ask for a better product.
After introducing my baby to first foods that I could easily prepare with a potato masher or fork, it was time to move to the next level. This product helped me to make purees of apples, broccoli, carrots, etc, in a minimal amount of time. If you want to make large batches, this is not the product for you because the cup size isn't large, I only wanted to prepare food that would last for about a week, so it works for my needs.
This is great for making those quick little fresh baby food and easy to clean up. great piece and perfect for the kiddos!!! Simple and not complicated. Small enough and doesn't take up much space!
Omgosh!!! This thing makes baby food making a breeze!! I had been making it in a blender and making mess after mess. The breeDs blender is easy to put together and clean after using. Love love love
I brought this product for my daughter and I absolutely love it. I would boil pears, apples, carrots, and etc. Then I would use the baby food maker to stir. The food was always creamy and perfect. I love how easy it is to use.
I love this! It steams and blends food perfectly. I love the food guide that comes with it. It's small enough that it's portable, so I can bring it to my families house and puree our dinners.
This works wonderfully for making small batches of baby food ie a good variety for one week. I will be using to make homemade fruit leather as well, so would enjoy a larger cup. It is also louder than I expected but not enough to wake a sleeping baby in the next room.
Overall, I really like the baby food maker. It works great and is very easy to use. I recommend reading the instruction booklet because some parts cannot get wet. Most parts can go in the dishwasher which makes for an easy cleanup. The only downside is it's a little small, so you can't make large quantities at once. However, when I researched various makers this seems to be pretty standard size.
I definitely do not recommend buying this mixer! If you want a mixer that will last more than 3 months, look somewhere else! I bought one for my older daughter when she was 6 months old, have been using it until she started solid food (9-10 months) and it started leaking from the bottom because the cheap plastic it is made from cracked all over! I put it in the box and took it out after 1 year for my second child. I was trying to look for the spare part on the internet, but they do not sell one, emailed the manufacturer, but they have asked for all kind of photos and proofs just to tell me, that they do not manufacture this bowl separetely and since it has been more than one year, it is not under warranty, so all they can offer is to buy a new one! If you do not want to waste money ant get liw quality service, look somewhere else gor baby food maker!
