I am happy with this cover. It is a little overpriced but it does keep the Balance Board clean. It was super easy to put on and fits well. It doesn't seem to hinder game performance that I've noticed; it picks up movement the same as it did without it. It does slide some with certain movements but not enough to be a problem. I gave it 3 stars under value just because of the price. The cover I have has been very durable as my daughter and I use the Wii Board almost on a daily basis. I would buy this product again and would recommend it.
This cover keeps the Wii Fit board nice and clean. This is very helpful because you have to remove your socks and shoes before use. The cover fits well and does not slip and slide around on the board. I would suggest getting this to go with your board especially if you have children that will be using it.
I purchased this as an added extra for the WII Fit that I gave my daughter and her family for Christmas. They love it....I just ordered a 2nd one for me. Why should I miss out on an extra..right. My daughter in law just purchase one as well.
If you have the Wii. You need this.
It may be a little overpriced for what it is, but I would rather have to buy a new cover once it gets dirty rather than have to buy a new Balance Board.
This is a great cover for the Wii Fit board. Protects the board and easy to clean. Helps keep you from slipping while playing the games.
This is a must have for anyone seriously working out on the Wii Balance Board. Yes, it does move a bit under lateral pressure but not so much to cause problems. No more concerns about sweat drops getting into the circuitry! I gave it a mid-grade on value due to it's price, no need for it to be that high of a price.
Overall I'm very happy with this silicone cover for my Wii Balance Board. It is easy to fit over the board and keeps it clean while not affecting the balance boards function and ease of use. The only problem I have found it that it slides a little when you shift your weight or step on or off the balance board.
It's hard not to be disappointed when I saw the exact same product on ebay for around $5. I'm convinced that dirt and dust are attracted to this cover--I've had it for maybe two weeks and it's filthy. It slides all over the balance board, even though it has little nubbies underneath to attach it more firmly to the board. I find myself having to put extra emphasis on movements so the balance board can pick up my motions (I have to step harder than usual, etc.). I expected the cover to fit more securely like the covers for the wii remotes, but the balance board cover is much more stretchy. For the price, I was pretty disappointed, but if it cuts back on the wear and tear on the balance board, then I guess it's worth it. Be careful how you step on the balance board if you put this cover on it! I'm just not sure if the cover is even necessary.
While the product itself is of decent quality you will find yourself slipping especially in step aerobics in Wii Fit. It also made my weight 10 lbs less which has messed up my profile chart - effected the BMI too. I don't understand why but for accurancy I've decided to do without. It's a nice idea but unfortunately this Wii Fitter is not a fan ....
