These are awesome headphones, I've purchased them before at the initial high price point. They last me more then 3 years until someone stole them. So when I saw the pro edition for $99 I jumped on it. Very comfortable cups, sound and mic quality are outstanding . I would 100% recommend them to other people even PlayStation users just pick up the in line pro amp from turtlebeach if you want volume and mic controls without going into settings. But them you won't regret it
After using these for a few months now, I am extremely happy with my purchase. Honestly these are the best sounding headsets I've ever had so far. The bass is great and not overpowered. The sound is very very crisp and you can hear every angle. For those who are planning on getting these headsets, they also include an extra cable for mobile use and you will still get great sound. Comfort wise...VERY COMFORTABLE. I was worried since previous turtle beaches were very uncomfortable after long periods of gaming. It is memory foam so it keeps a nice snug fit. GREAT for canceling out sound. Not just outside sound, but also from the headset. As in if you like your sound LOUD, it cancels out the sound so others can't hear it. There are 4 settings for game volume options. I would suggest setting 3. It has treble and bass boost. If you just want bass boost, then setting 2 will fit what you need. I personally just like balance between the two. DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS. "It's not 7.1 surround sound!" It is. "Terrible sound quality!" It's actually the best I've heard. Either they did something wrong or they had it shipped to them. (I never have electronics shipped to me. Too many risks) All in all, to end this review, I highly recommend these headsets to anyone either for gaming, music, or both.
Very comfortable headset that goes around the ears. Noise cancelation is great if you are very in-depth with video games like myself. Has awesome features that allows you to control the treble/bass settings. Even the chat/game volumn mixer. Used the superhuman hearing during battlefield 1 and no one could sneak up on me. Overall great headsets. The one NEGATIVE I have about it is the sound can cut in and out at random times. Sometimes worse than others.

Bought another pair for Christmas. The ear cups fit great, comfortable. Can now have chat with friends since our older Xbox 360 turtle beach headset still worked great but were incompatible for chat with new Xbox 1 console. Feels like it fits the head better as well. Turtle beach makes great sound quality and product with longevity of tons of hours of usage. We are happy with our purchase and recommend this product. Yes it's pricey but works a long time compared to cheap versions.
Most of these reviews are from people who clearly have zero idea what they are talking about. The XO7 pro's are NOT 7.1 surround sound. They are not surround sound at all! What they are, are very good stereo headsets with mic monitoring (you can hear your own voice through the headset - a great features that uI can't live without) and a feature called super human hearing which amplifies the smaller more discreet noises like footsteps. I don't like this feature as its at the cost of sound fidelity and there's little bass. Other than that these headphones are IMO very good. I originally purchased the turtle beach stealth 500x which are their wireless 7.1 surround sound headset. They are over $100 more than the XO7 and as someone who appreciates good sound, I took them back the same day. They are tinny and provide none of the same fidelity as wired headsets.
Purchased these for my teenage son who plays on the XBox One, and the superhuman hearing is important for the games he plays. He likes them, and I believe they are comfortable, but from what he says, I don't think the superhuman hearing is exactly what it should be. Most of the features are better than most regular headphones, but these aren't as fantastic as advertised. For now, they have been working well, but he's only used them for two weeks. That is why I would recommend them so far. We'll see...
