This product is great. It only takes up a small space but it holds a lot. Perfect for my small one car garage.
This is one of those things I wish I'd thought of making 'cause it's fantastic. I'm using this in a craft room and boy did I get organized! Lots of space in a little space. I just wish it came with more things to put on the peg board. I had to go buy some more.
I bought this to store my scrapbooking embellishments and it works wonderfully! Easy to assemble, holds a lot of stuff! I am trying to decide if I have the space in my scraproom for another! This unit does not take as much room as a full sheet, 4x8, of pegboard, but gives you just as much storage space. It only takes about 3x4 feet of space on my wall! LOVE It!!!!!
Was purchased for my husband, who is trying to organize his tool shop. He LOVED it, and it is a great space saving, practical product! He thought it was a terrific gift for a guy!
I have a lot of necklaces and could never find anything to use for them to hang on..I thought of pegboard and then saw this kit...it was so easy to put together and having it swing open is great..I love it and it stores my necklaces perfectly! Very handy...it's put together very solid...very happy with this!
I bought a new set of bike tools. I installed 2 Ikea pine desk tops on the wall for a dual height work bench. I installed one 3 foot long high output light fixture above the bench. I put most of my new bike tools, and some old tools on the pegboard organizer. The result; instant shop! I am very happy with it. It is great to flip the panels back and forth to access every tool I use the most. Being able to use both sides of the pegboard makes all the difference. I can get any job done in a lot less time because of the ability to reach out and grab any tool. I have already gone through 2 sets of pegboard hangers. If you want to get one of these, and have lots of tools you will need 5 or 6 dozen hangers for starters. If you have tools that do not need to be on the road and you want instant access, you need this. This would work well for any arts/ crafts, hobby, or other activity that has lots of pieces to organize that you need to access randomly. This is so much better than buying a big sheet of pegboard. If I put the big sheet on the wall, I could only use one side of it. It makes more sense to me to group the tools on the smaller panels by category. I solder to the left, so one side of the left panel is electrical. I will have a vice to the right, so wrenches and sockets can be over there for man handling nuts, bolts and cutting and filing. I went from being a disorganized slob to being the envy of my gear head friends with this one small purchase.
I could not have bought a more perfect birthday present for my husband. All his tools now are organized so precisely and most simple to get to. So much better than a toolbox, in which we had to shuffle through the drawers and pull out 6 different wrenches before we found the right size. This pegboard wall organizer is very sturdy and unobtrusive. There is plenty of room on both sides of all three sections.
I wanted something to hang a few frequently used tools on, but didn't want a traditional pegboard that covered a large portion of the wall. This is out of the way and doesn't look "gawdy".
I'm pleased with the wallboard organizer and WalMart's site-to-store program. Received it in about 7-10 days, free shipping. Only one hitch: I think the 25-inch measurement between the top and bottom bracket could be a mistake. I mounted them 25 inches apart and found that was one inch too far. Rather that drill new holes in the wall studs I just moved the bottom brackets on the three panels (much easier) and things then fit OK.
I have it mostly attached to the wall. I nned my Dad to come with a stronger drill to drill the screws in all the way. It's pretty hard to drill into studs. The kit comes with some hooks and such but you have to buy more accessories to be able to get everything on there. I bought some accessories at Lowe's. I like it and can't wait to have it all organized. I need to take a whole day to get everything on there I want. Overall, I would recommend this is you have a sapce wide enough.
