I'm 67 and I use this with a bowflex xtl I've had for 15 years. They work well together. A great way to exercise throughout the winter.
i have only had it a couple of weeks with a couple of small adjustments it seems pretty good. i'm very happy with it
Just got this treadmill and so far so good! It was easy to put together. The only thing I spent time on was adjusting the belt. I have walked and jogged on this so far and both work wonderfully! I am very happy with this purchase and it's great that it tracks your calories, speed, distance and time. I would highly recommend!!
If you are already in good shape you should have no problem with this treadmill. If you are like me and trying to get into shape, it's not as easy as you may thing because it is "human powered". The incline is pretty steep and I was like the big bad wolf- huffing and puffing the first time that I used it! I waited almost a year to get back on it after my first time on, but it is getting easier with daily use. I love the way it folds up for storage.
This treadmill is well built, sturdy and easy to assemble. I compared it to a more expensive one promoted by a famous person and it was much more stable and heavy duty. The more expensive one was a little easier to walk slowly on but not enough to choose it over the Wal Mart treadmill. The fact that there was no shipping charges was a real bonus.
Overall it seems to be very good, except that after 5 days of using it for approx. 1 hr each day one of the bearings fell apart, I called cust svc and rec'd replcmt in 4 days. I have been using for 10 days and all is good.
This treadmill meets our needs for a moderate exercise option, especially during inclement weather. It is adjustable to our varying levels of workout exertion. Setting the tension on the belt was a trial-and-error activity.
I'm 66 and bought this for the cold months. Love that it folds up and fits in the closet. Very easy to walk on with the silicone spray. Kind of stiff without it.
This treadmill is good when you don't have time to go gym or out for walk. It's cheap and space consuming. Easy to assemble and use, and the good thing you don't need power. The only negative point is that it has two inclined positions only, you can't use it at floor level.
I bought the treadmill, assembled it, and was immediately unhappy with it. I worked with it for about a week, but my opinion didn't change. The movement was unsteady and unsturdy. I didn't feel safe or comfortable. This was one of my worse decisions about fitness equipment.
