Great frig!! It's all we anticipated in a frenchdoor frig. Stylish with great options. Water Dispenser to room capacity I find nothing to complain about. Far better than our old LG. Coldest water ever from frig water Dispenser. Top it off with tasteless water. Kudos GE.
We love all the space this refrigerator offers. With the ice maker in the door (and not taking up storage space in fridge) food and beverages easily fit.
I love my GE refrigerator. It's smaller than the one I had before but also very roomy and loving the ice maker and water dispenser. And no fingerprints. Love that a lot lol There is a loud noise when the compressor kicks on. I'll call to check on that. All in all. Love it
This refrigerator is very nice! I've always loved the Slate appliances and now I have one and will be purchasing a range soon. :) I've had a GE Profile refrigerator for 20-25 years. It was a side-by-side and I wanted a French-door for my next fridge. It will take a bit of an adjustment because I'm so used to my old one, which had sliding shelves, but I'm sure it will all work out well. It's been less than 24 hours since it was installed. I really like the Turbo Cool; how the water purifier out of the way; it is so bright inside, making it easy to find things.
Love the French doors. Love the sleek style. Love all the horizontal space in the refrigerator. Like the sides painted as dark as they are. Looks quite handsome. Thanks to the great installation team from our GE dealer, Hurst TV and Appliance for their courteous, professional service. Our house is small and they had to do some creative negotiating to get everything in place. They went above and beyond the call of duty . Looking forward to many years of service.
We purchased this model to fit the space we had available. The fridge looks great has plenty of space. The lighting is great. Everything is in view with the way it is laid out. The ice maker and water dispenser work great. The layout of the freezer and the way the drawers work is great. GE did a very good job with the functionality of the fridge.
Bought this refrigerator because it was one of the few that came in a "33 wide version. Had it for about 45 days now and it is working GREAT! Like the amount of light in the fridge and freezer compartments. Like the clean lines of the face of refrigerator, the controls on the water/ice despenser are easy to use. The Fridge and Freeze temperature status button/readout is solely for setting to the desired temperature, it is NOT a measurement of the actual temperatures inside the refrigerator or freezer. I have a thermometer in each and so far the readings are VERY accurate. The fans and compressor are not overly loud or distracting, no more than our previous refrigerator. So far so good!
Love the new refrigerator. One suggestion in the refrigerator it restricts how many tall items you can out in it. There should be a way you can adjust the shelf's for tall items even if it means putting another top shelf on the left like the one on the right.
Overpriced and obnoxious piece of equipment. Obnoxious because the two top doors both must be opened to get anything out of the unit and the door with the ice unit keeps crashing back shut. speaking of ice, the ice maker spits out the ice and you must have a large mouth cup to be ready to try and catch it. Don't do chipped ice because it flies everywhere. The freezer compartment is hard to open adding to the obnoxious rating, both shelves come out at once and they are loud waking up others in the house. The fingerprint-free tag is a joke. We have a wash rag attached to the handles now because the slightest smears are magnified. It is noisy, noisy, noisy! We are very disappointed but because of our limited space, this is what we are stuck with. We grew up with GE, we owned stock in GE, and our parents worked for GE and they would be disgusted with this product.
A couple months after we got the fridge it started operating super loud. We called for service and rhe fan in the freezer had iced up. They told us to take everything out of the fridge and let it thaw out (luckily a neighbor had an empty one in an apetment he was transitioning. Turned it back on it was quiet for a couple of weeks then back again. The next time the tech told us it was a fan issue and he had multiple calls of people with this fridge… same issue. They replaced the fan. Same thing happened a couple months later. This has been ongoing and repeated and we have had the fridge 1.5 years and it's a constant headache. They won't replace the fridge. I'm never buying GE again.
