It gets very hot fast. In fact I actually burnt my finger the other day. It's pretty good the straitness stays for 6 hours. {Depending on the type of you have.} Even though it isn't the best hair Straightener in the world what do you expect it's ten dollars!!!!
i WOULD NOT ever buy this product again. i went for it because it was cheaper than the rest i saw. it dosent get hot, barley straightens, and looses all heat between rounds of hair. my hair isnt even curly, its simply wavy, and this straightener dosent even begin to work. i wasted my money.
I bought this a few months ago and it was very very slow heating up and it didn't even straighten my hair! I have very thick long hair so maybe that's why but all the other reviews didn't like it either. So dont waste your money!!!

My sister bought this and let me tell you it is terrible it should not even be sold it has no purpose it doesn;t even heat up high or straighten your hair
I have to say, this was the WORST straightener I ever had. I only used this on occasion and it was completely a waste of money. The plates didn't heat up at all, I could take my fingers between the two and put the plates together and it just felt like a warm cloth against it. I suggest you DON'T buy this.
i got this straightener a couple of months ago and i was so happy that i finally got one but i plugged it in and waited but about 10 minutes later it wasn't even hot so i waited a little bit longer and it still wasn't hot so finally after 2 and a half hours it heated up but even after that it still dosent keep it straight if you just walk outside for 15 minutes it going frizzy and curly again so dont waste your money even for ten dollars it isn't worth it
