What I love about this item is that doing a low carb where you count net carbs this only has one net carb and the sodium level is just right. This is my go to brand
These cocktail peanuts have just the right amount of salt for my taste.
I get these as my go to for snacks.....mostly my go to are these or chips. They are pretty dang good quality...maybe the same or better than Planters. ..so my issues with it. Yea I touched on some not so good ones.....that's about it but not really... ...the picture shows it's a great roach collector for my fish...so that's good tooo.... but there's no roach mention that plus'sed they ran out at my store....first time ever for me to not be able to go walk and get some. Ohhh an other container issue...that's also not mentioned...it fits my planting pots well so I have a great system for them when in baby stage...so that's good. BUT...again I got no phone call when they ran out of nuts....and the very day I got them from an other store they appeared at mine same day! This all is probably something to do with my crrrraaazy wife Jen. ...so for no real reason I gotta warn ya...DONT BUY!
Both my husband & I love these peanuts! ! ! They have a lot less spanish peanut skins in them that the name brand. We buy quite a few Great Value products. We find them just as good or even better than the name brands.

We much prefer the Great Value Party Peanuts over the Planters cocktail peanuts. The Planters include lots of peanut skins which is very messy. The Great Value Party Peanuts have very few peanut skins which is what I would expect when buying cocktail peanuts. I don't understand, however, why we can no longer purchase the Great Value Party Peanuts in the Walmart Super Store in our area. We used to buy them there, but they no longer carry them. We now HAVE TO buy them online which seems very odd.
I am very picky about peanuts; often they are rubbery or over roasted. These are perfect peanuts in every way, but for me they could use a LOT more salt! My solution is to sprinkle extra sea salt over them once they are in a serving dish, and that brings them up to my salty standards!! Also the container once empty, is perfect to store dried goods such as pet food, pasta, legumes, flour, etc. Highly recommend!!
I find these peanuts to be roasted more carefully and are cleaner than the usually more popular brand. These are less expensive than Planters and taste better. Not as dusty with some less salt. I think they would improve even more if they were roasted in peanut oil not vegetable oil. Then they might get a 5 stars for taste.
I wouldn't buy these again. Taste and texture was weird.
I purchased the lightly salted cocktail peanuts 16oz size. Date on bottom is Jul 13 2021. Code is GH1 16:28:34. Opened them today and they have an awful chemical taste. Called 1-800 number and was directed to call store. Called store and was directed to call 1-800 number. I just want to make sure they put a recall out on this particular batch. I have purchased these in the past and have never had any issues until now.
