This product is a high quality product at a very good price. There was some misleading advertisement on the description that says the special coating is on 6 feet of the tape, but in fact it is only on the first 3 inches. I believe that someone copied and pasted the description because on the products that actually have the 6 feet of special coating the price is a lot more money. I will use this product for work and be happy with it, but it would have been nice to have gotten what I thought I would have gotten. But with the price I paid, I should have known it was too good to be true. The product is top notch and I have no complaints about the performance of it.

My husband loved this. It's huge but very easy to see while measuring.
Ordered large quantity (50) and received over 40 individual boxes instead of them being grouped for shipping. Very inconvenient to have to unpack each box. Couple had badly damaged packaging but product was great and as described

This is a heavy duty tape measure. I was able to measure two rooms without needing someone to hold the other end so it has a long reach.
Fat max is the only way to go… much more ridgid than the standard 1” wide tape…
Everything but the retractable spring. It is not strong enough to pull the tape measure in. I'm a field inspector and at times have to measure roofs. Having to pull the tape in is quite a bother. Check it out for yourself in the store. It might be perfect for you.
The tape only retracts to about 8 feet then you have to feed it in by hand not what you want in a tape measure
