Since you have come out with the "easier" to handle packaging tape dispenser- no longer am I messing the tape all up with my attempt to put it on a package. For years and years I always hated having to get the "tape gun" as we all called it because even when it ran out we all dreaded having to remember the flow of how the tape was threaded to come out on the other end correctly. I use it alot because I ship about 15-20 packages from my home each week. I have tried other less expensive brands and it is just not worth the savings, I have returned them for cash or exchanged for Scotch every time. This is the best ever. It is strong, durable, goes on easy and TEARS easily and neatly when I want it too! It is well worth the extra cost to avoid the frustration from cheaper products. When I use a flea comb on my cat, I first tear off a small piece of scotch packaging tape and hold it above the comb as I comb thru her fur so when the fleas jump they go into the tape. I also use the tape to remove any fur or fleas off the comb. Sometimes if they jump on me I tear off a large amount of tape and keep applying it on my clothes on and off until I catch them on the tape. I know this sounds crazy but it works wonderfully. Although Scotch Premium Performance packaging tape is excellent for sealing packages to be mailed, I have found other wonderful uses. I sew. She who sews must occasionally rip. Scotch Packaging tape is the pickier-upper for all the little loose threads on my fabric. I also use it to pick up cat hair on my furniture before company comes, to de-lint my husband's jacket when he leaves for work and to pick up what I can't see on the mat in front of my kitchen sink. This is the best tape I have ever used for packaging items to mail. I have used it on boxes going by UPS, Fed-X, and Postal. I have never had any damage to anything I have shipped. I also use the tape for storage boxes and it lasts so long and doesn't dry out like some tape. I have even used it to close plastic bags sent to me from catalog companies when I return items. Purchased multiple rolls (20-25) of both regular duty packaging tape as well as "heavy duty" shipping/packaging tape. Tape does not stick to boxes at all, so you end up having to go completely around each box to allow the tape to stick to itself. Even comes loose from bubble wrap. If you want to use twice as much tape as should be needed, buy this product.
I bought this several weeks ago so I don't have the receipt anymore, but after first use found that this tape doesn't stick AT ALL. Totally dry! All that is on the dispenser is a long strip of plastic with no glue! What the heck? Would like my money back.
