This is a perfect size kitchen. It's compact and will fit nicely in our living room. Pretty easy to assemble.
It's very sturdy, my two year old loves it, the cabinets are wood so you've got to watch them, she did open the cabinet on her head a few times and it bruised, but she's stopped . I like that it's wood and will last awhile.
We bought this product for our daughter's 2nd birthday last week and she loved playing with it. It's a little time-consuming to assemble, but the instructions manual is very detailed and easy to follow. I love the color and the size is perfect for our apartment. The only problem we've had is that the screw for one of the sinks broke off during assembly so we weren't able to install it. Overall, this kitchen is great compared to the plastic kind sold in the stores.
This play kitchen is so much fun for my one year old grandson to play with. He is very interested in opening and closing the oven and refrigerator as well as taking the food items and pots and pans I also purchased in and out. I think the level of play will grow as he gets a little older. The directions made it easy to put together. We are sharing some fun time playing with this little kitchen. Very colorful and interesting design.
My granddaughter (age 2 1\2) loves her little kitchen, especially the timer. When the timer goes off, she proudly announces, " Dinner ready!" Its just the right size for her, she even pretines to wash her hands at the sink.
I love it. My twins love it. But the timer was broke in less than a day. I was disappointed. My daughter was kind of bummed. It was for her birthday and she's four.

There are a lot of small pieces that come loose that can be very dangerous for a child. My husband had to make some modifications to the unit in order for it to hold properly and safe. If Melissa and Doug can change some of the parts to make it safer, it would be great for kids.

The particle board was so thin it broke when we were putting it together. My daughter never even got to play with it. We have the lemonade stand and love it, but we're so disappointed in the kitchen
