I've had this phone for over two years now and it has never let me down. It's built solid! I have dropped it on concrete floors and roadways...no problem. Try that with your I-phone. ha ha. This phone is easy to use with the windows 8 platform. Fast and intuitive after a few minutes of learning the nuances of the 8 platform from a couple of quick tutorials online. The included GPS Here and Maps apps(FREE) are fantastic. The tiles in windows are great. Easy to ad/delete or move around, re-size whatever. Almost any product that you buy these days has at least some small shortfall. This phone doesn't have any! Enough said.
This phone does come unlocked. It is a GSM phone. You cannot use it with Verizon. Make sure you can use it with your carrier before your purchase it.
I've had this phone since day one. I was looking for a tough phone with smart phone capabilities. It's very easy to customize the display, it connects easily to any PC, wireless charging ,LOVE IT, and great map features. After the upgrade it became faster and Cortana is awesome. It might be a little heavier than the average phone these days, but it's tougher than anything I've had so far. Not as many apps as the apple or android, but enough to play around. Overall it's a great phone, for anyone who uses Windows products daily.
I've had Android and iPhones but this Windows phone is the best I've ever had I recommend it to everyone
Love this phone. Have been in love with the windows OS on phones ever since I got my old Lumia 635. It's very quick and easy to use. Little on the heavy side for a phone, but I like the weight in my hand, this isn't for you if you want a thin, lightweight phone. Great quality, would recommend if you're looking for a sturdy feeling, fast, windows phone.
I love this phone it works great and i don't care for andriod phones so being that this works just like one but it is windows..
In the time I had this phone, I was absolutely in love with Windows Phone. The screen was great in the sun, and the camera always produced amazing photos. The built in apps were better than what I've used on other platforms (especially the calender!). My one complaint was the weight of the device. The device was a bit too heavy compared to most on the market. The app selection was the main reason I left Windows Phone. A lack of support from the *required* 3rd party apps drove me away from the platform.
The Nokia 920 has a good look , solid and of a good size. The picture quality is good. I however had to return the Nokia because the Windows system wasnt know to me. Not easy to navigate and for someone who is more familiar with an android system, it will take some time for you to get the hang of it. Another reason I sent it back, it did not provide the apps I use mostly. But for someone who is "tech savy", it maybe a better choice for you.
This is the worst Windows phone I have had am so going back to the 635 it was a way better phone in all ways can't download any apps to this phone hardly cuz they aren't compatible this is supposed to be an upgrade yea not a chance don't waste your time or money on this phone is sucks
I bought this phone due to the advertised feature of being an unlocked phone that would work with any cell phone service carrier. When I received the phone, it had the AT&T logo on the front face of it. When I tried to activate it with my carrier, Verizon Wireless, i was told it would not work with them. I contacted AT&T, it would indeed work with their service. I then tried to activate with a SIM card that AT&T sent me and ended up finding out that overall the phone I thought I was purchasing was not what it was made out to be in the description and specifics; it is for the pre-paid service with AT&T which I do not have nor want. Not happy at all with the trouble and inconvenience I have been put through due to incorrect detail listed with the item description on the Walmart web site. Lesson learned!
