This has been such an essential part of our baby nursery! A must-have for new parents in tracking baby's weight gain right from the changing pad. So precise and accurate, and so handy to monitor right from your smart phone! Love our Hatch Baby Grow!
The features are awesome, but I would change some of the ux design! I'm opening this app for every feed, often one handed in a scramble with a crying baby, so the buttons to track nursing could be bigger/more pronounced so moms can quickly start and stop. Or maybe allow for customized home screen? I'm only tracking feedings now so I could get rid of the rest to make it simpler. Otherwise love it all!
Love it. I am a foster mama and I have to track all this stuff. It gives me the perfect place to see if my baby is growing and eating what he should. Also so interesting to see how long each feeding takes. Such a cool feature.
Second time mom here m. I was hesitant because I didn't know if it would work or be worth it. I didn't worry about weight with my first. The week after I bought it my doctor told me she was worried about weight gain. My Baby also has reflux so I worried about if he was eating enough. This scale let's me weigh him, track growth, and do weighted feeds! It gives me piece of mind. Best baby gadget I e ever bought!
We love the Hatch Grow Scale and the app! We use the scale to measure how much breast milk the baby is getting and it is super accurate. We have tested it vs. a bottle feed on multiple occasions. It's great to be able to track how much the baby is eating. The app is also really amazing - one easy place to track feedings, weight, length, diapers, and pumping. I also love the. Gary's it provides based on the data and the growth percentiles. I think one of my favorite app features is that it reminds me which side the baby fed on last. Another cool feature is the daily photo upload that automatically creates a slideshow. If it sounds like a one stop shop, that's because it is! The color of the scale is also very nice for a nursery - goes with everything! The scale is definitely worth the investment. Would buy again and as a gift for someone else too!
Two of my friends surprised me with my Hatch for my baby shower gift. Can't wait to use it soon!
Scale has been pretty easy to use but finding how to make it work in the app wasn't very user friendly at first. Once I figured it out we haven't had any problems. Appreciate the info it provides and definitely would advise parents to not weigh daily or else they will make themselves crazy!
I bought a white one first, and the foam padding was poorly glued to the unit. Looked ragged and unfinished. Bought a second gray one thinking I got a bad unit. The gray one was better but foam still looked unfinished around the edges. For the price I expected better workmanship/quality control. I ended up returning both and will be buying a simple baby scale. Not having a built in display was also a hassle, since to weigh you would need to take out phone and wait for it to connect to hatch grow. However, once connected I did find the scale to be accurate.
Wanted to love this item but unfortunately can't! I purchased this after finding out our baby was under 3% during pregnancy due to complications. The scale worked great for the first 6 weeks and was accurate to the pediatrician scale (weekly weight checks). One day, the scale started saying baby had dropped in weight (BY OVER 1LB) and I couldn't get a repeat reading!! After going to the pediatrician office, it showed the scale is now consistently inaccurate after 4 weeks of using the scale. Talk about the caused major stress considering we moved from weekly to monthly weight checks after 4 weeks of being released from the NICU. I wanted to love this product, especially needing to monitor weight so closely. It's now an expensive changing pad. At least it's wipeable LOL…
The weight portion never works and gives an error message indicating the contact support
