This is by far the best lantern I have ever owned. It has 4 mantles that completly lite up the entire campsite and no one else needed to use their lantern. Everyone on the fishing trip said they were going to buy one.
Finally a lantern with a mesh globe, no more worries about breaking a glass globe, with its four mantles it lighted up our camp site
This lantern plus a cylinder of propane costs the same or even less than the fancy LED lanterns. This takes a bit more set-up time than an LED, you can't get this kind of brightness with an LED lantern. This is a great value. Once set up, it's so simple to operate.
Not as bright as my two mantle Coleman.
i had problems installing the mantles and the lighter did not work. i rated it 1 star
I own several Coleman Northstar lanterns and I wanted to try another high output lantern for my catering company. This lantern was a big disapointment. It is poorly built, in fact I had to reassemble it when I got it. The metal is very thin and it seems very fragile. I am going back to the best in lanterns, Coleman.
