This butterfly is so cute and quality made. The body, where the stars are placed is plastic, and has stars, the moon and planet. When you turn on the lights, it is very bright, brighter than expected and covers the ceiling with the designs that are cut into the plastic body. But careful not to spill anything on it, since it could go through the openings of the designs and damage the wiring. The rest of the body, is soft, but sturdy, the wings are very soft. The antennas are soft but sturdy, and the bottom of the body, below the plastic part is soft, with a strong velcro closure where you can reach the settings: 45mins, 15mins, off, try me mode. Has a 3 setting volume, the sounds mentioned in the product description and the lights button. t shuts off on its own. And the battery compartment has a little screw that needs to be unscrewed when changing the batteries for extra safety. In overall, this was a good purchase, very well made, exceeded our expectations. I would recommend it.
Precious butterfly night light was just what I wanted for my sweet new granddaughter. Just right for her nursery.
We got One of these for my first daughter and we liked it so much we got one for our second daughter. The first one has held up very well and my firstborn is already five and she still uses it. Both the lights in the music still work. thus one in particular can be a little bright but in red is dimmer. It has a couple of different volumes, and it has three different colored lights to choose from. it also has a setting where the color will change automatically between the three. It gives us enough light while we rock the baby to sleep and shuts off automatically after about 45 minutes. It projects well into the ceiling and walls. And it doesn't gobble up batteries. Love it.
We bought 2 of these for each of our granddaughters, age 20 months & 4 yrs. They are mesmerized by the lights on the wall or ceiling.
My girls love it
I got one of these for my 3 year old before he was born. We have another baby on the way so had to get another for her. My toddler tested it out and approves for his baby sister. This one actually has a little longer time than the one my son has which I like.
I got this for my 2 year old daughter who was having a little trouble going to sleep. This literally puts her to sleep and distracts her from anything else. She loves it! She can control what song she wants and what color! So glad I bought this!!!!
great toy for infant!!!
Bought this for my 2 year old who was expressing fears of the dark. This butterfly saved the day! It is perfectly soft and sweet for a little companion, and the batteries are tucked away under the body so it isn't tempting to open up. It uses several different colors for the star projections, as well as several options for sounds like rain, music, and a heartbeat. This really helped my child feel more secure at night. I would definitely recommend.
My daughter (1) loves this. Really helped her go to bed without complaint. My 2 frustrations- the volume settings get really loud. And the buttons are on the outside so she can get access to them. After putting her down I will Sometimes hear the noise get very loud on the monitor.
