I am beyond the most un-girliest of girls. I don't even know how to put on fake eyelashes so my first reaction to this was extremely frightening! I would make sure to read over the instructions extremely good before using it. Certain parts can be used with water and some can't. My favorite is the exfoliator because it makes your skin so soft. I received my Braun Epil 7 929 set in the mail. I was so excited to get it and to use it. It was more than I thought I was getting. The face scrubber with its multi speed was great. The bath attachment was awesome and the epilator... I was apprehensive to use. I don't like pain but it wasn't that bad after all. If you hold your skin taunt it doesn't pull too awful. It has been a week since I used it and still no hair growth. Too bad I didn't get this at the beginning of bikini season. ;) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This product comes with the Braun razor, epilator head with cover, facial epilator, cleaning brush, carrying bag, and a charger. It is easy to pack this set up and carry it anywhere without taking up lots of space. It is very ideal for taking along on trips. You don't have to deal with shaving cream or those horrible nicks and cuts. I didn't think that I would like this product after the initial shock of the pain. I have never used an epilator before. It took some time to get used to it but I was able to finish both legs the day I received it. The after maintenance care was far less painful. Once you get used to this product it is wonderful. It leaves my legs smooth for days longer than shaving. I don't have to deal with nicks and cuts that come from shaving. I can use it anywhere and don't have to worry about wetting my legs. It is very convenient and I have grown to love it. The exfoliator that comes with it is awesome as well. It leaves my face feeling smooth and clean. I use it at least 3 times a week now, sometimes less, depending on how my face feels. The body exfoliator is also wonderful. It adds just the right touch to the after care of shaving my legs with my new Braun. I love this product and I am so glad that I was able to participate in this mission. I was chosen to try the Braun Epil 7 929. I love it. I will never use a razor again. I especially like the accessories that came with it. It is easy to clean and has it's own little bag for everything to fit into it. I would strongly recommend everyone to try this product. I think the braun epil is really help full its a little painful but it works it says it last up to four week but i have gone up to 5 without having to worry about my legs i can walk confident knowing that the braun epil has worked i would actually refer it to people in fact i already have. I love it product to pieaces. However, the face cleanser was my favorite because the razor tugged at my skin so hard. It was difficult for me to get use to the tugging. Ok, the first time I tried the epilator, I have to say, it did sting a bit. However, I used the tip about using water, and stretching the skin as I did it, and that helped a bit. I have now used it a total of 3 times, and the last time I used it, it really hardly stung at all. I think it may be a matter of getting used to it. I like the 2 speeds, and I use the high speed as it seems to do a better job for my hair type (dark and coarse). I was VERY nervous about using an epilator, as I have never used one in my life, but after reading the entire manual I felt like I could handle this. As I said, it did hurt just a little at first, but nothing like I had imagined. And ladies, the results are worth it! I notice that the hair growing back is becoming a little lighter and less coarse, and I am loving that as well. Also, I tried both the exfoliating brush and the soft facial brush, and I LOVE the soft facial brush. My skin feels so awesome on my face now! My face always feels tight after washing it, but not any more! This kit is really fantastic, and it IS something I would buy now, knowing how great it works. I was so excited when I signed up to receive the Braun Epil 7 929. I am always trying different skin exfoliating products and am interested in easy hair removal products-but a 2 in 1 product really got me interested!! I read all the directions and then tried the hair remover on my arm and underarm. I have to say that it was VERY painful. The directions stated that there would be discomfort but it felt like little pins sticking into the skin and I could not get through the whole underarm or arm. I even tried it on my "tough" husband's arm and he was surprised how painful it was. I like that it can be used dry or in the shower but overall it was painful. So on to the exfoliation.... I have to say I really love the body and face scrubber!! I used the face scrubber on it's on and also with facial scrub in the shower and it left my skin feeling smooth and clean!! I also used the body exfoliator with regular body wash and also a body scrub, both left my skin feeling clean and super smooth!! Before I received the product I thought wow- hair remover and full body exfoliator sounds awesome but I did not consider the discomfort involved with the hair removal part of it. Overall I really like the product. I feel that if I can just keep trying out the hair remover I can get over the discomfort but to all that are interested, keep in mind your tolerance for pain. I loved my Silk Epil. It was perfect for every area. My face particularly. But I'm so disappointed that less than a year old, it has died. The motor sounds slow and weak and it will not pick up hair. I guess I worked it too hard but it did a great job for the short time it functioned.
