This is the only thing I have found that works for my heartburn and stomach issues. I used to be on Prilosec and the Equate antacid/antigas tablets work better. The only problem is they never have it in stock. Ever since Rolaids pulled all their products I have been afraid that Walmart is going to pull this one as well. Rolaids is no longer making the formula that this was compared to. But we don't need Rolaids. We need Equate Antacid/Antigas. Please don't ever stop making it.
The antigas ingredient is very affective. Thanks.
This is one of only two products that alleviate the gas caused by GERD and other problems. Most new acid reducers reduce stomach acid too much, making my slow digestion even slower. Plain calcium carbonate (Tums) doesn't work for me, but these multi-symptom tablets contain calcium carbonate, simethicone and magnesium hydroxide. However, I can no longer get the tablets at pharmacy chains, etc., so I'm very thankful that they are still available at Walmart. I ordered enough to qualify for free shipping, the shipment was fast and the price reasonable. I'll certainly order these from Walmart again in the future.
It relieves my symptoms and helps me get through the day. I just do not understand why I cannot find it anymore. It tastes pleasant too. Not too strong, just right.
its nice to have a tablet with both antacid and antigas. works great, priced affordably, could taste better.
when they took our favorite anti acid off the market with it's lemonish taste, this is what we found. Berries, but it is the best to use as a replacement, Good pricing and supply.
MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS WALMART CAN'T KEEP THEM IN STOCK. THEY ARE ALWAYS OUT - EVEN IN STORES. I JUST BOUGHT 9 BOTTLES ONLINE AND NOW THEY ARE AGAIN OUT. OTHERWISE - THEY WORK WELL FOR ME. BETTER THAN THE BRANDS.
Although the price is wonderful , the taste is nowhere as good as the Equate asstd. fruit flavor that my wife and I both liked (THAT flavor has disappeared, for some strange reason, and we have not been able to find a comparable replacement that takes car of both acid AND gas in the same tablet AND tastes good, too) Also , the TEXTURE is not the same as the asstd fruit flavor , it's grittier. BUT...........it happens to be the ONLY product on the market right now, similar to what we had been taking, that helps GERD , so I bought several bottles in hope that before we run out they will come to their senses and bring back our favorite flavor , ASSORTED FRUIT ! ( PLEASE ! )
I ordered the Equate Antacid Antigas tablets online because they were not available in my local stores. My most recent instore purchase of the Equate Antacid Antigas exp. date 4-2016 compares to Maalox Advanced. My online purchase has a different formula and compares to Rolaids Multi-Symptom. Although both products are labeled Equate Antacid Antigas they are not the same. I'd expected to get the "Maalox type" that I purchased in the store. To be fair to Walmart.com, the item I received was the item pictured online but there was no mention of a formula change. I'll keep watch to see if the "Maalox type" formula product appears in either the stores or online. I'll also know to check the ingredient label in the future.
The sucalose leaves a terrible taste in your mouth. Sucalose should be printed in big letters on the front of the label.
