I was so excited to use this Model No. FB223RWR, massaging whirlpool foot spa with HEAT, massage and water jets. I filled it with warm water, got in my favorite chair in front of the fireplace, put my feet in the nice WARM water. That didn't last long - the HEAT element did not work and by the time I got comfortable, the water was ICE COLD. I had my former foot spa for over twenty years and the heat element never quit. The only reason I got rid of it was the massaging element stopped. It was purchased at WalMart, Jasper, Texas
I know the product information says that the product does not heat, BUT it does claim it keeps the warm water warm that you put in it. NOT TRUE! Water turns cool pretty quick, even when hot water is put in! My daughter bought this for me because I am a diabetic and she wanted to keep mom's feet healthy and happy. She spent her hard earned money on this. The bubbles ard jet are nice, but cold or cool water is not what you want, so it takes away from the other options.
Package instructions say it does not provide HEAT, and will only MAINTAIN the temperature you start with. Well we start out with steaming hot water and get ice cold within 20 minutes. We removed the painful roller bars on the bottom of each side as well...and the so-called massager in the middle did absolutely nothing. The loofah pads became encrusted with dead skin and couldn't be cleaned out. $30 for this! a bucket of hot water did more and that's practically free, minus the 3 bucks paid for the bucket! The savings alone on electricity more than paid for it, hahaha.
My husband bought me this for Mother's Day. I was excited to use it because of my prego swollen feet. The rollers were a little to hard for my feet and I didn't care for the attachments. The heater only kept the water luke warm (more on the cool side). I didn't really care for it and probably will return it.
I got this as an early Christmas present, and I was so excited to use it. I read the book, and it said that the heating element is not made to heat water up, but to keep the temperature the same. I tried it twice, trying all of the settings, and the water was cold in about 5 minutes. The leftover water in the pitcher was still hot, but in the foot spa it was cold. If I could give it half a star or negative stars, I would. This product is definitely not worth the 30 bucks I paid for it, and I will be taking it back.
My husband got me this for Christmas. I wanted one because I am pregnant and wanted to soak my feet when they were swollen or sore. The heater did not work and the rollers on the bottom were very small and hard plastic, what is soothing about that? I was so disappointed because I really wanted it. But thats what I love about Walmart their customer service is great and they do not give you a hard time on returning stuff.
When I went to buy this product I made sure to read and compare it with the rest, and this one looked like the best bang for the buck. However, I don't think I'll buy a foot spa again, a bowl of hot water is cheaper and more effective. When it comes to this spa, you have to put hot water in it, it DOES NOT heat the water as the product advises; but, it claims to keep the water warm...which is not true. The water went really cold really fast, bubbles or no bubbles. When you have foot pain you want to soak for more then 5 minutes. And the attachments don't do anything but irritate your feet. You have move your feet over them to get anything done, but if you have to work how is this spa relaxing? I returned it the next day.
I agree with the other reviewer who said not to buy this. I put HOT water in the spa and it was cold within minutes: The heat setting does not work. The massagers feel awful: Hard, beady little evil things. And the bubbles and jets, while fine, are not sufficient to make you feel like you've had a relaxing experience. I am going to try and return this, I hate it.
I work at a retail store, and after a long day of standing, I would love to come home to a nice foot massage, so I bought this product. Pros: The "mini massagers" feel really good when you rub your feet on them. Cons: The jets are so loud, so there's no way to enjoy the quiet after work. The attachments have no purpose. It's to be put in the middle so they can spin and massage your feet, but, I don't want to have to lift my feet to put them on a hard piece of plastic that doesn't even work the way they work. I wish I would've returned it when I bought it, but it's too late. Don't get it!
Working as a waitressing i come home with a lota pain in the feet. So figured a foot bath would work wonders then just a bucket of the hot water. But this conair was hard plastic, made my feet hurt worse on soles, and the jets were louder then my own TV set! ...plus it couldn't maintain heat. It didn't produce it, continue any heat..nothing. Was also cold water after 3 mins. I DON"T recommend it to anyone
