I was looking for a coat stand that can accommodate a lot of coats and this stand has the most pegs that I've seen.
I bought this because my hats were hidden in boxes in the closet and rarely worn. Assembling it was easy, even with so many parts, and I used a jar gripper to tighten the knobs. The tree gets ""bigger"" once the hats are on it and is now looming in my entry way! Come spring, the hats will go back in boxes and the hat tree will go in the sewing room.
Exactly what we were looking for; sturdy and great price...easy to assemble.
Great coat rack especially for such a low price. Lots of parts but super easy to assemble. It has a lot of hooks and a heavy sturdy base to prevent any kind of tipping or movement. I definitely recommend this.
one of the pieces (J) was faulty, but you cannot see it because of all of the coats. This coat rack is great height for kids as well
I ordered the Natural item and Oak came in, the base shows clear or white and the base was black. It is very functional though and is what we needed.
The instructions to put it together is just a diagram, and it is in black and white, so you need to really look hard to compare the pieces. The neck piece just below all of the coat hangers is made of wood and it broke while I was putting it together. It could have been cracked, but I believe that where it is located there is way to much stress on it and even if it didnt break while I was putting it together, over time it would have broken from stress of hanging coats on the hooks. I should be made of a stronger material. Just an average item.
Once we were able to get it together, it's quite nice - good, heavy base. No instructions came with it - only parts list. Metal pieces didn't fit into drilled holes. We had to file the holes. I'm disabled so I could NEVER have put this together. A relative helped me and we both had a difficult time with it.
Two major sections of the wood were warped making the overall coat rack not stand straight. I had to re-order a replacement and take parts of two orders to make one rack that was acceptable. It was priced at almost $100 and not of very good quality.
the one and only thing I didnt like was the assembly instructions werent that great
