Awesome Ride!!!

We bought this after taking back the John Deere Gator (see review on Gator). What an awesome ride! Even in wet grass and on a slope the Jeep maintains traction. We definately recommend this one. We were impressed with Power Wheels brand (over Peg Perego) with the purchase of our daughter's Barbie Volkswagon Beetle but the Jeep even surpasses the Beetle (albeit it is a bit pricey). If the Jeep lasts as long as the Beetle (4 years) it will be worth the money.

Great Jeep for My Son

We went out on a whim, and decided our little boy needed a new toy. We went to Toy R' Us and the jeep was almost $500. We went into a local Beaumont walmart and they had it only one left for $394, and to our surprise had a instant $30 off coupon taped to the box!(thanks fisher-price) So we went home and put the jeep together and our son loves it. We have all types of terrain at our house and the jeep never slows down. My son is a little short so it is hard for him to reach the pedals, but he loves his jeep. I only wish we would have bought it sooner!

Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son, he and my 7 year old daughter love it. They both fit well with the seat adjustment either can drive (I do wish it were simpler to adjust the seats). It hardley ever gets stuck and has been running perfectly for 8 months now. Any friends that visit have to try out the jeep - I would make this purchase again.

We love this product, my son 3, nephew 4, and all the neighbors ride around in it for hours. I think we probally get 3-4 hours out of the battery. It can ride just about anywhere, and it has alot of features to keep the kids entertained. It was however a bit pricey.

I ordered this with the hopes that it would last my three and five year old for a couple of years at least (they had a hummer that broke after less then a full day of use). Well it has gone through my daughter's driving lessons, and even the neighbor's kids. We haven't had it long enough to say that it will last for a "long time" but so far the kids are putting it to the test. The battery is already starting to not hold a charge like it used to and we have only had it for less then two months, but they use it everyday, charge it and are back out with it. It is the most expensive on out there right now that I know of, but it holds more weight and can drive in every condition my kids have put it through so far.

We live out on a farm and this jeep is everything I hoped it would be! There are many pine trees to steer around and a rather large hill to climb and this jeep took it all with ease! The tires spun on a low wet spot in the grass but a normal vehicle probably would too. The radio really does work but if your 'lil one is taking this out on the gravel it's not possible to hear the radio at the same time. The battery is in the back and a very small storage compartment is in the front. My daughter just turned 6 and still has enough room. My son is only 8 months but he will definately love it too. Until then, he will have to deal with having his sister do all the driving! LOL! She said "look mom, a cup holder! I can even put rocks in there!!". We love it, love it, love it!

My 5 and 2 year old had a great time with the Jeep Hurricane ride-on toy on Christmas. I needed approximately 4 hours to put it together, but I'm usually a little slower than most when assembling anything. - - The vehicle largely met my expectations. We have a gentle slope in our backyard, and even on wet grass, my son only got stuck once. Having my daughter along as a passenger seemed to mitigate getting stuck. - - They had a good time driving around and playing with the real working radio. After just one day of fairly hard use, we haven't had any trouble (fingers crossed). - - My only complaint is the battery life. The manual says that you should get 3-5 hours from a single charge. I found that we get two hours max. Our shorter duration could be because of the use on wet grass and slopes, but none the less, I feel like that the battery should have lasted longer. Fortunately, I purchased an extra battery, but with a minimum charge time of 18 hours, I really should have purchased an extra charger (I'm going to).

i am hoping that it was just a defect in the one jeep i bought. but i bought this for my sons 4th birtday. it ran for about an hour if that. then quit working. to much frustration by me, i spent awhile building it. keeping the secret from my son for weeks. he had to have his gift returned. not a happy 4 year old. i don't know if it was the battery or the jeep itself. don't want the aggravation of finding out. i am looking to purchase him something else. not by power wheels.
