Bought this printer for home use. I am a graduate student and my fiance is a teacher. We needed a printer that can do everything. The printing and the scanning is far better than our Epson it is replacing. Scan quality is extremeley high. Printing is fast and accurate. Comes with both black and color cartirdges. Very pleased with the product. Canon is a very repitable brand and it shows. I had a lot more confidence buying this over the lexmark. Shipping was days faster than it advertised. Walmart said 7 buisness days, it dook only 3 business days.
This printer was a great buy!!. I have had 2 other Canons in the past this model is by far the best. It print quickly and with good color. I would definately recommend this printer to anyone.
This printer at this price is very good. I am pleased with the speed and the print quality for photos and for documents.
great for the price, i don't use my old scanner anymore. good colors and pretty fast too.
Does a good job, seems to use a lot of ink (already low for both color and black tanks after only a month or so)... can't scan legal size documants, photo printing isn't that great, but over all is a good buy for the money...
Ok, let me tell you about my 3 experiences with this printer in the past 5 days... 1st Printer: Every single last page fed into this printer jammed. Returned it, got another one. 2nd Printer: This time only ALMOST every page jammed, and constantley said that it was out of paper. 3rd Printer: It did not have any od the ink cartridges in it, it did the same as 1st and 2nd, it kept jamming and would say out of paper, and also it would take the paper, and just stay there in only about an inch, and print print and print and print of that 1 section. Also when I first tried to align the head, it kinda did the same thing, but it very very slowly fed the paper, making it sloppy wet, and then I tried again and thats when it would not move at all and it sprayed ink on the inside of the printer. After all of that mess, I said forget it and went back to a Lexmark and got a Lexmark X2500 all in one and it works!!! And it is not too bad at all.
Does not print good pictures. Very loud. Don't waste your money.
