I owned this set when i was a kid and now i am buying it for my 9yr old daughter. I remember using it and practicing with it for hours. It is helpful and one of the more affordable sets that actually comes with a book on drawing, not just mixing colors. The only thing is i wish it more colored pencils, paints...i guess the same set, only like an expanded version. But otherwise a great set for a beginner or just a kid who just likes to play with drawings.
