wow... so, they look nothing like the photo, or a very VERY cheap version of the picture, but definitely not what is pictured detail wise. also had to file the edges down so they didn't cut me.

Run, don't walk. When I opened the package I thought "when did I order a set of washers and bolts?" These "things" look like they were discarded from a piece of heavy machinery. I know they're inexpensive, but this is ridiculous. You'd be better-off tying a twist tie around your toe.
