We looked at alot of kitchens for our son and alot were too girly, but as soon as we saw this one we wanted it. The color and style first caught our eye and the price was perfect. We read some of the reveiws because we thought there may be a catch. Alot of the reviews talked about how difficult the assembly had been for them some were so bad we considered not buying it but the price was to good to pass up. I can definatley say it was pretty easy to assemble, not like the horror stories we had read about at all. It did have alot of pieces but all I can say is wire cutters people! It took us about two hours to complete. It was perfect it comes with accessories and makes noises it is a great value.

this product is amazing for three main reasons. 1) it's very inexpensive 2) it's good quality and 3) kids LOVE it. i love how it has all of the separate shelves and cupboards. it's exactly what i was looking for. yes the assembly was time consuming, however it wasn't hard to put together, it just took a while. on the bright side, if you don't feel like putting it together yourself you can have an assembler at walmart put it together. perfect. this product gets an A+++!! :)

I purchased this for my 1 year old niece-we thought she was a little young-but, she loves it!She has to stretch & stand on her tip-toes to reach the micro-wave, but that will change soon! She loves opening the doors, putting her play groceries in the different spots, then changing them .The only thing we have to watch right now, is since she has to reach to get to the top-the kitchen will topple over, when pulled on, but will not hurt the child. She spends hours with this!.

When my 3 yr old grandson asked for a "kitchen set" from Santa, I shopped everywhere. Prices ranged from $89 to over $149 - for a "TOY" kitchen! When I saw this $38 bargain I immediately ordered it and I picked it up from the store myself. I ordered it in plenty of time so if it did not meet my standards I would have time to return it and continue to look for something else. Putting the project together looked like a task as there seemed to be 100's of pieces. Well I set aside an evening when I was not rushed, and followed directions exactly and found it fun and challenging and everything clicked together perfectly. I can tell you it is worth 3 times the money I paid - how cute! and he absolutely LOVES it. So many doors and buttons and parts, it holds his interest and he can be so creative with it. This was truly the best buy of the season for me. I would actually give it 10 stars.

It comes in a zillion pieces to assemble (literally!), but after 2 hrs, you have a darling little kitchenett for your kids. After 1 month the stickers are holding up to the play, the cupboards have withstood an 8 month old hanging on them, and it looks nice to have in my kitchen. It is 37" tall. The back center of the kitchen is about 14" long before each end bends at 45 degree angles. After the bends, each of the sides continue another 14.5 inches. It fits in a corner of any home, standing only about 7.5" out from the corner (i.e., the back of the kitchen does not touch the corner of the corner. :) Make total non-sense? The cupboards have about 4" x 6.5" of shelf space inside. The oven is about 10" tall (with a shelf inside) and 6" deep and 8.5" wide. The interior of the microwave is about 4" tall, 4" deep and 7" wide. The burners ARE ONLY 3 INCHES IN DIAMETER. Luckily it comes with pans small enough to fit them. The burners light up with pressure. The back burner makes a frying sound, and the front burner makes a boiling sound. Each sound lasts for 14 seconds, unless you turn the bottom knob, which cancels the sounds. The top knob is a timer that clicks for 7 seconds before canceling itself out...it can also be canceled by the bottom knob. The countertop/oven range of the kitchen is 24.5" off the ground...a perfect fit for a barely 3 year old in the 40th percentile range. I believe it will fit her comfortably until she is about 4.5 years old (but that is just a guess).

Im a single mom who had to tackle this on her own. Luckily for me I did it the night before Christmas Eve, because it took me 5 hours to get it all together. Lots of pieces and instructions could be better. BUT..it was totally worth it because my daughter loved it. She really likes the burners that sound like boiling water. Very cute item and GREAT for the price.

I bought this item for my 2 yr. old for Christmas of 2009. It is a great little kitchen. Before Christmas I was a little worried after reading the reviews and almost took it back. My husband tho said that he would put it together and we'll save the 50-70 bucks that we would have spent buying a higher priced model. Well I had my doubts. When the kids opened their presents today and my husband got started on the building of the kitchen- I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it seemed for him to put it together. It took 2.5 hours but he was doing it at a slow pace and took a break for lunch. After the got it together, the quality really amazed me. I mean I paid 50 dollars for it and it is a great quality. It does come in a million pieces like the model cars. You do have to pull the pieces off the plastic casts and trim up the sharp edges, but it wasn't hard work at all. It is fairly sturdy. We have it against the wall for added sturdiness. It comes with a few dishes. Burners are on the small side but I'm not complaining. My boys LOVE this toy already. I will be honest- I don't know how well it'll hold up, but it looks sturdy, well made, and just lovely. I think that if you put effort into it and craftsmanship into it then this kitchen will be the best quality gift you buy for the price.

This is in my childrens playroom and it is the centerpiece of their area. Lots of fun, with all the features although not all the bells and whistles. We were very attracted by the price for the features it afforded. It was to be a Christmas present. After a very long night getting the kids to bed we started wrapping presents and I opened the box at midnight. At first I started laughing, and then I almost started to cry. It wasn't funny anymore. Literally EVERY piece in this box had to be cut out. I mean there must be about a hundred or so little big and medium sized pieces. Stickers, knobs, screws, etc. as well. Instructions were NECESSARY but not real real clear! It was like a huge puzzle! EVERY part had to be cut out individually out (like you had to do with model cars as a kid). Every component had four parts it seemed, every edge had to be shaved down to make it smooth and safe. SIX HOURS later a kitchen was complete. It was quite nice actually but I couldn't get over the assembly and still can't to this day. I'm amazed that these don't get returned by parents who don't realize the work it involves. It is the biggest assembly job I've ever had to do and that includes furniture, grills, and bikes! All on Christmas too! This was a project. So know that when you buy it. BUT - if you can get by that and don't mind building your own kitchen HAVE FUN! Don't recommend doing it on Christmas Eve however! (very tired and grumpy daddy) Honestly it is a little funny looking back and telling this story. Except for a couple warped parts everything worked good and it is actually a nice product when it is put together. I'm proud of my little project now, I have to say the workmanship is quite nice!!!
