I love this formula. My 7 month old baby has been drinking this since she was 3 months old, when I stopped pumping breast milk. On my older children we used a competitor's formula and my poor baby would be so constipated. This formula doesn't constipate my newest baby ever. I will never use a different formula.
Our daughter is 2month old now.we started with the formula which they were given at the hospital. After a week she slowly got constipated, for three weeks.then we changed the formula to good start upon a friend recommended, she is so happy actually we all are! She did not had any digestive issue or constipation since then.so much apreciated.she LOVES IT....
After exclusively breastfeeding for 6 months, we couldn't get her to even take a bottle. We solved that puzzle many $$$ later after 8 different types of bottles (she ended up taking the 1st one we bought...of course.) Then came the real struggle. Bother her older brothers were formula fed, and she had no time for any of the formulas they had taken with no issue. Not wanting to lose all the work we'd put in on the bottle issue, we tried one more formula - Gerber Good Start Gentle. She took it right away. It was magical. And she's been chugging bottles ever since. Thank you, Gerber, for helping us stay sane. Our children really appreciate it
We had changed formula and bottles 3 times. My poor little guy had horrible gas issues and would stiffen up and cry for hours. We were at a loss and had no idea what to do for him. At his 2 month appointment, the doctor recommended Gerber Gentle. The change has been amazing. He is finally smiling and playful rather than crying and screaming. I just don't like the price, it is a bit more expensive than what we were on, however the extra money is well worth the more restful nights.
Solved all of my newborn's tummy troubles and contains better ingredients than other brands of formula! Doesn't foam when you mix it and dissolves very well. No bad smell.
I've been buying this for my daughter and it has so many great benefits for your baby. I love it and the fact that it does so great on her little stomach.
we use this formula but was wounding why it doesn't dissolve when mixed right away. Any thoughts on how to get it to dissolve when first mixed. We have tried other formulas and they don't have this problem. She does well with this formula so please help. we use room temperature water to mix formula.Thanks
I thought gerber took the stance that 100% partially hydrolyzed whey was best. Why only change the formulation in the 12oz cans? I'll tell you why: cut manufacturing costs bc primarily WIC recipients are getting this size. Why not produce in bigger cans then? Despite that I think it's a great formula in comparison to enfamil and similac's flag ship formulas (especially the "bare bones" ones. I'm glad they kept the 2'fl and probiotics.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a sample queen! So when I found out I was pregnant I started stocking up on formulas, diapers and any baby product I could find. Needless to say I had formula samples from every popular brand out there. Gerber Good Start Gentle was the last of my samples and not the one we will be sticking with. It has given my little lady some terrible smelly gas, she is not her usual content self and also has a hard time pooping. Kinda disappointed since I wanted to stick with Gerber formula since the rest of her food will be Gerber. I think the packaging is great and the little scoop holder in top of the canister is genius.
Iam trying to transition my son onto formula and this one is awful i read good reviews so i bought it and all it does is makes my 3 week old son gassy fussy and constipates him!im so disappointed!!its weird though cause his hospital gave me the already prepared kind and he did just fine with that why could that be?
