I used it with my Halloween inflatables and it worked great! I will be using it for my holiday decorations from now on. I think I'm also going to get one for my lamps indoors so that I can set a timer for my house lights. It's a great idea for when I'm out of town and don't want anyone to know.

It took me awhile to figure it out but after I got the hang of it it was so easy and so very convenient because it can be used for so many purposes which I used it for my speakers to plug them in outside so I'm able to sit out on my porch and be able to listen to music at night time when it's nice and calm so this plug is something I definitely recommend to somebody that loves to have parties in their backyard or just like me go out on your back porch and sit and listen to some music it's waterproof and has the covers that go over to protect the sockets from getting wet which I actually really love. The quality of this product is absolutely high quality this is absolutely the best outside outlet socket plug and smart plugs that I came across so far and fall in love with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was super easy to use. I have an outdoor area with a fountain and I didn't want it to just stay running all the time so I got this plug so I could turn it off and on from a app. It works great for that. I highly recommend it.
Good mechanical quality, good water resistance, but somewhat flaky programming. Compared to other lighting control apps I've tried, it's pretty good, the setup wasn't hard. I first set up a test schedule. Once I had that working, I deleted it and set up the "real" schedules I wanted. The plug didn't seem to notice that I had deleted the test schedule, and kept following it. I had to do a factoryu reset (not difficult) to get that test schedule erased. The Wifi connection doesn't seem to be the most stable. But still, this plug works way better than others I've tgried.
I wanted to light two strings of lights that I used to decorate the railings around my front porch and this was perfect--one outlet for each side. I also wanted them to be smart and this gave me that, plus versatility for additional uses. I had a problem at the beginning with getting the device attached to my smart home, but I called customer service and got a rep that spent about a half hour with me and couldn't resolve the issue. She told me she was submitting a problem slip and the engineers would look at it and notify me when it was fixed. THEY ACTUALLY DID.

Not stable, plug turns off on it's own
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the GE CYNC Smart Home Plug is innovative and has great potential. I found it extremely difficult to set up, sync to my devices, and ultimately use. I search for answers and did many differ things suggested but to no avail it never worked properly. Very disappointing experience. I also do not like the design of the plug or the very short cord attached.
