This is not the first front loading washer that I have owned. The updates that have been added are wonderful and certainly a selling point for me. The new vent system is long over due. The odor that is characteristic of a front loader should be much improved.
Attractive appearance and easy to understand functions. Love the “no stink” features and hygienic clean cycle. Not sure I'll use the wi-fi function to remotely start the washer but it's nice that the software can be updated. Hoping it lasts 10+ years
I purchased this washer because the one that came with our house was a different brand and poorly designed. When I googled washers that are easiest to clean, this model popped up multiple times. Some important features that made this an easy decision to purchase include, the venting system to decrease mold growth within the washer, and the easy access water drain trap door that is located in the front. We have dogs that she's and I have to clean this out often. I couldn't do that with my old washer. So far, the venting system works well and I like that it reminds you to turn it on after a load. The setting are easy to use and adjust with each load and I'm super happy we went with GE.
I couldn't be happier with my new washer and the WIFI and App make it more convenient to remember that I have wash going. Sometimes I can get sidetracked and wash will sit but the app notifications keep me on top of the laundry and on top of my day. It's easy to navigate and use. I highly recommend it
We've only had our front load washer 2 months but we love it. It has already made laundry days easier. The wash cycle takes a bit longer, however, I can wash at least double, possibly triple the wash loads, saving me time and water expense. The spin cycle removes so much water that the dry times are much shorter. I use the Quick Wash cycle for my lighter loads and my clothes are clean in minimal time. I love being able to wash my king sized comforters, and blankets, in my own home, so no more laundromat trips! The different cycle selections make this so easy that even the grandkids can do it. The Ultra Fresh vent lets me close the door without worrying about mold issues.
Performs as expected and quiet. Value for the money. Only one negative, the loooong drawer for detergent, etc. is awkward to work with and the well positions aren't intuitive. My wife actually had to put a diagram on the front of the drawer, as our machines are on a pedestal, and we can't read the well.
Washer size is great! Gets clothes clean and plenty of space and love the front end loaders machines! The venting system seems not to want to turn off on its own. I just run for awhile then turn power off. Not sure if this is normal or not? Otherwise, no other problems noticed during use.
Just did 3 different washes using different settings- only complaint so far is that it does not have a longer Gentle Action wash. Also- can't read names of solutions in drawer. Very hard to read. Fabric softener especially- needed a flashlight to see letters.
This is a very nice looking product like how the door vents out. I haven't had any issues with odor inside of the washing machine which is fantastic. My only issue is I've had this set for about six months and I've had multiple issues with the spin cycle, not spinning all of the water how much of the clothes? I'm contacting customer support today. We'll see what happens.
We have only had the washer for 3 weeks, so far. The only compliant that sticks out so far is the quick build up of a water stain the door window gets. The washer door has the lip that sticks into the barrel and we have noticed water gathers or sits on the window even if we run the Vent cycle, Or leave the door open. We have come to wiped the door down after each cycle, not super convenient. Still on the fence about keeping this machine.
