Love the big screen, storage, everything about t, I'm sure I haven't found everything it does I'd definitely buy another
Purchased this on Black Friday at an amazing price. I moved from a T-mobile Galaxy S3 to this Verizon J3. Pretty happy with this phone. The only thing I miss from the S3 is the auto screen brightness. J3 only has half the built in memory of my old S3 but that hasn't been a problem for how I use the phone ( also added a 64gb microSD card). The J3 does have the advantage of a newer operating system (6.0 vs 4.4 ). Battery life has been very good. One problem I had was getting the "Screen expired" notice when trying to register with Verizon. I was able to register online with no problems and the phone has worked flawlessly since then.
Bought this for our 7year old with intent to use it as a cheaper alternative to an iPod. Prepaid is a good option in case we'd need a phone for her in the future. I.e. Vacations. Buying from Walmart was easy. We ended up returning it though because it went on sale cheaper at another store and bought it from them. But the return with Walmart was also very easy.
This phone was purchased for my teenage boys and I am very pleased with it. It is very similar to the Samsung galaxy 4. I love androids myself. So, if you are a fan of androids I would recommend this phone.
Bought this for my husband Have had the same phone for a year now. Long battery life, easy to use. Budget friendly.
How are you kidding? This is the best deal. My pay as you go service is so inexpensive. This phone is as good as any $500 phone. Who would want anything more? Android marshmallow, WiFi. It's the best deal around/
Samsung (J3) (smart phone) and Verizon have a real winner here. Fast reliable and intuitive. Has NFL Apt built in to watch (stream) Monday night football plus other nights of the week. Connects to WIFI printers, WIFI, Bluetooth in car, and Verizon DATA network, Text mode, and Voice phone mode , automatically. No more fighting to make it happen. All screens are quick and very responsive. Very close to a PC in your pocket. No Contract. Great for Senior citizen. Great for high or low budget. Camera mode has an easy add on (free) picture correction program, WOW , perfect pictures in your hand. Need I say , FUN, FUN ,FUN.
This little phone does what I need it to do. Aside from not having a lot of Internal storage space, (I put a 32G memory card it to take care of the storage issue. ) I miss my Note 3 but I won't complain about the Samsung J3. I recommend it as long as you get an sd card too.
I bought this phone for my mother, who previously had a flip phone that she only used for emergencies. My sister thought I was crazy to buy this for her, as she didn't think she could figure out how to use it, but my 80 year old mom loves it! I was able to increase the display size for her, and she is having fun taking pictures and 'surfing' on it. I thought it was a great phone for the price, I ordered it online, and picked up at the Walmart store 3 hours later. Seamless to set up as well.
I bought this phone as a gift. I held on to it for a bit and when i realized the person who i intended to give it to had already gotten a new phone i decided to use it myself as i was un happy with my current phone. I activated this phone about 3 weeks or so after i purchased it and for the most part thought i would like it. I did purchase a 32gb micro SD card for it as i know the space is limited on these. Here is my review. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!! First i had moved all my applications to the micro SD card and it still said i had insufficient space. I then uninstalled all the apps removed the SD card and still no space. I then factory reset the phone and after it installed everything it then updated all the factory stuff and used 7.94gb of the 8gb of space. I can not receive calls half the time or make them most of the time. I can't use text messaging most of the time and when i can get these two things to load i have to immediately delete old messages or calls. I can't add contacts, the factory apps that need to update won't due to no space. I don't know why but even the micro SD card isn't solving this issue. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. It's basically an expensive paperweight. I have spent time on the phone with Samsung with no viable solutions. You only have 14 days to return a phone to wal mart so don't buy them as a gift unless you plan on opening them and using them prior to giving them to the person to see if it has any issues. Save your money buy another phone this one is garbage.
