Usually, I have no issues and the frozen bananas are what you would expect frozen bananas to be. I received my Walmart delivery today, and my bag of frozen bananas were ripped open. I was very disappointed.
Nothing I can really say about them other than, I did not like at all. It's the only brand of frozen bananas I have tasted. Perhaps I wouldn't like any frozen banana brand. With that said, I can see how they may be handy for placing in a blender for ice cream milk shake or other shakes/smoothies.
the nutrition info in picture is not whats on the package not happy
When you open the bag you hit with a strong fragrant smell of bananas but that's about as far as it goes. The bananas lack flavor, I've added them to my smoothies and I couldn't even tell there was any banana. Better to buy fresh bananas slice and freeze
To snack on--these are overripe. Ugh. Not for me. However, if I remember correctly, my mother used overripe bananas to make delicious banana bread, so I think these would be perfect, and being frozen, they are much more convenient than waiting for fresh bananas to ripen.
If you desire to be ripped off for a dollar or slightly more because the banana is presliced, this is for you. If you don't mind getting foods from other countries when we grow bananas here in the USA, this is for you. Packaging says product of Guatemala. I'm getting tired of eating foods imported when our country has an abundance of most domestic fruits.
I ordered 2 bags of frozen banana slices. The first bag I opened all of the slices were dark brown. Had to throw them away. I'm glad I opened the second bag before throwing it away because they were good.
The whole bags all of them were brown
I buy these frozen bananas for my smoothies and I got three bags but one of the bags when I opened it. The whole inside of the bananas is just one bake solid mush block of frozen. It looks like it was taken out of the freezer in the store, maybe and unfrozen And became mushy and then somebody picked it up and put it back in the freezer. I'm definitely not eating it. I don't trust it.
Opened the pkg and it's soured water and rotted bananas. The water, from the bag, pored down my chair and cushion The stink is awful. How did this pkg ever get onto shelves. Please refund my money
