Ive been using Mason Pearson combs for over 50 years and after a tooth fell out of my very old, favorite comb, I was delighted to discover that an identical replacement was available from Walmart. I easily placed the order from the website...it arrived quickly...and - just as quickly - on the third day, a tooth broke off. I was astonished! My hair is thin, fine and short and Im not rough when combing it. So this new comb was a huge disappointment - making me wonder if the original company had been sold and the new owner was now making a less durable product.
This was junk! I was super excited to get my new comb. As soon as I received the box, I took out the comb and as I ran the comb through my hair one of the plastic teeth broke off. I couldn't even believe it. (For reference, I have medium, straight hair.) I was angry. Inside the box was a letter stating that once the product is opened, they will not except any returns. Terrible customer service! If you are going to buy a high end product, dont buy it here, buy it through a company with a good return policy. Buying this comb was a HUGE regret since nobody since the distributor wont stand behind the quality of their products. But it somewhere else!!!
