[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog, Tyson has had a sensitive stomach since he was a baby. We have spent many many nights cleaning up after him because his stomach simply can't handle some of the yuck that these other brands put into their foods. We had found 4-health at Tractor Supply that didn't make him sick, however he seemed to not care for it. One bowl would sometimes last him three days. I felt like he just was not eating enough. So I figured I would give this a try. and he LOVES IT. It also suits his stomach very well! THANK YOU PURINA ONE.
I rescue, foster, rehabilitate dogs that I have rescued from shelters, on the road or abandoned somewhere. Currently I have 6 rescues and I also have 6 dogs of my own, one who is handicapped. Purina One Chicken and Rice formula agrees with ALL my dogs. I don't have to worry about picky eaters and can feed all of them the same dog food. I have used this dog food for at least 8 years and have no intentions of changing food. I tried less expensive foods because my dog food bill is higher than my own food bill but it is not worth the change. Thank you for making a good quality dog food for all my critters. When I adopt out a rescue dog Purina One is what I reccomend to the new families to continue using:) Thank you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Boxer & Yorkie love the Purina One Chicken/Rice variety I feed them. Particularly, my Boxer who was under weight when we adopted her and within 4 wks. has gained almost 5 lbs. and is close to having reached her ideal weight. Both she and my Yorkie are healthy and energetic. I use the chicken bits for training while I prep their food because they're so eager.
They first eat the chicken pieces before the rest. We've tried other dog foods where we even put some of 2 brands out to see what they went to and every time they go to Purina One Smart Blends with chicken and rice. Our vet has put her seal of approval on it for being good food for their needs.

The food is not only tasty for them but it's also healthy. It's 100% nutritional and no fillers. This is easy for them to digest and it supports a strong immune system. There are crunchy pieces of kibble and tender chewy morsels. I highly recommend this recipe for any dog owner.
