In collaboration with veterinarians and research scientists, Royal Canin formulates recipes with 50+ nutrients to support four health nutrition goals: body development and maintenance; energy; prevention; and special care for recovery from illness. Royal Canin Breed Health Nutrition Miniature Schnauzer Adult dry dog food is designed exclusively for purebred Miniature Schnauzers. Providing complete nutrition, this special formula for the Miniature Schnauzer breed contains EPA and DHA for joint and bone health; a balanced composition for an ideal weight; and amino acids for maintaining the coat's natural color. Miniature Schnauzer Adult's specialized kibble is perfect for this breed's blunt muzzle and scissors bite by being easy to pick up and encouraging chewing.

My dogs have been on this food since puppies. They eat it up! I've had other terriers that would get tired of kibble and was always changing. Not this food. They are excited to eat, and almost inhale it. Adding the can food, mixed with kibbl, and warm water for dinner is a winner. My dogs are supper active, spend outdoors most of the day playing and running. They don't smell, their eyes are bright and their hair is shiny and soft. This food will keep them healthy for long life according to my vet. This is the best. I recommend highly!
As a breeder for miniature schnauzers, I can honestly say this is very good food my schnauzers love them I even use this brand for puppies, miniature, schnauzers for my newborn puppies that I have it keeps them very healthy. I have been using this brand for over nine years now and will continue to use it.
This was recommended by our Breeder. We did switch to blue buffalo at one point but was quick to switch back to Royal Canin! Both mini schnauzers had bad reactions to blue buffalo. We have had NO problems since switching back to Royal Canin! The pups love it!
I have used this food for over 6 years and it works great. No gas, no excessive stool waste, and he is fit and trim. I feed a cup of day to my schnauzer mix he is 30lbs.
We got a very sick (with valley fever) foster schnauzer two months ago. He was extremely underweight, filthy, and because of his illness he could not walk on his two back legs. He would just lift both back legs as he walked! We have been feeding him Royal Canin Schnauzer food, as we feed it to our mini already. Along with meds and vitamins, our foster has gained 4 lbs already, is running around on all four legs, and continues to improve each day. He loves this food, and it has helped him become so much more healthy in just a short time. We can’t wait to see what happens in the next couple months!!
Good food. I have a small dog so smaller portion bags would be great
Royal Canin makes the best food for my sweet little Schnauzer mix, Kona. Every other brand of dog food I tried gave her an upset stomach, until I tried Royal Canins special schnauzer formula. Kona is a happy girl now, thanks to the wonderful people at Royal Canin :) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
It's so convenient that I can order this for delivery as I have had trouble finding it in stores near me since we moved (and it also shipped to us quickly - within about 2 days!). We have had great results feeding this to our Miniature Schnauzer (when feeding her a different food, she developed a skin rash which has cleared up now that I was able to find where to buy the Royal Canin and switched her back to it). Thank you!
I have been using the breed specific food for my Miniature Schnauzer since we got her eight months ago. The food seems easily digestible, low in fat and my dog seems to enjoy eating it. I changed to a different food for about a month, and she developed itchy skin. So, I switched back. Problem solved!
My Schnauzer is a picky eater and he loves this dog food. It comforts me that my vet loves that I feed my dog Royal Canin.
