I bought this scratch post at my local Wal-Mart and the price was higher than it is listed on the web site, I paid $20 instead of $15. If you only have one or maybe two cats this thing might be alright but I have more than that and it lasted less than a week. They really liked while it held together but it didn't take long for the sisal to start coming loose from the post and and within a week 1/3 of the rope was laying in the floor where the glue had come loose. I do have other scratch post and some of the cardboard scratchpads so it wasn't like this was the only one in the house. I think I will stick with $10 ones from another store, I have had one of those for almost six months now and it is still being used by my cats.
