BigTzzy.... the speed is shown. Simply download the Cobra app in this web page and drag and drop the video into it. The app is pretty cool! Has Google maps integrated into it and shows the rear camera footage without even dragging and dropping the file.
Absolutely the best camera combination we have ever owned. Took some learning on how to operate but once we did it is GREAT!
Great item, added to my current cam for the embedded location.
This mount replaced original one on the glue. And it's better to have this mount - you can set dash cam for your convenience. Thank you for your job!
Very usefull accessory for my dash cam. It keeps my position and time accurate.
I have the CDR895D and purchased the GPS mount. Works great. It keeps the time correct and has the GPS stats in the video. The way things are these days its nice to have visual proof when you need it. I also upgraded to a 64 gig card. The whole system was easy to install. Highly recommend all Cobra products.
Stuck right above rear view mirror, cable plugs into Cobra Dash Cam and you have instant GPS data embedded in your recorded videos. Well worth the price and would recommend if you want accurate time/location recordings embedded in the video file
Downer on the 2308 is the fact that the windshield fixer is only adhesive... so bought this device so I could have a removable item. Maybe not what you want to hear, but it works fine tho the only use I see for the GPS is to put lat/long on the recording in case of an event.
I just got the gps mount for my camera. And it shows the location in the video but it does not show mph. It only shows in the video editor. Not what i was looking for.
I purchased this thinking it would add GPS and Speed data to the video. It works great so far with the exception of it doesn't provide any speed data. All it does is add the GPS coordinates to the video. While this data is helpful for establishing your position, I would personally prefer having my speed on the video.
