I used to use Frontline and I would find fleas and ticks on both of my dogs within a week of application. I have found that Pet Armor is more effective and less expensive. I don't find any fleas or ticks on either of my dogs even when it's about time for the next treatment. I have recommended this product to many of my friends that complain about Frontline not controlling ticks in the sandy area where we live.
Works just as well as Frontline plus...but cheaper. You have to get the plus type in gorder for it to kill the eggs. Plus version/type not available for cats.
I am very pleased with this product. It killed all the fleas and eggs as soon as I applied it to my dog. I was very happy with the low price too.
I used Frontline plus for years and it's getting expensive for three dogs, so I bought Pet Armor plus and it does the same as Frontline plus. I've been using this now for 4 months and my dogs haven't been scratching and no ticks. I was skeptical about buying it because like Hartz products can burn the dogs skin but Pet Armor plus isn't hurting my dogs skin and hair! I will keep buying it from Walmart online because one bad thing is they never have it in stock!
For the first time in decades of having pets, we had a flea issue. We used this and it stopped them cold. It does smell a little for about 4 or 5 hours, but after that - no issues. On of our pups has a very sensitive system and allergy's, etc, but this did not affect him at all. All I can say is that it works in a household with 3 doxies, and 3 cats (they get the cat version from pet armor), here in Oregon (where fleas can be a big problem year round, AND the price way beats all of the "name" brands. My vet told me the main ingredient is a solid one that is the same that is in many of the "name" brands. Thank You, Wally World, no more Biters!

It works and is less expensive than the big brands.
