Just had the radio for a month now and its everything you would expect from a cobra and more. The bluetooth feature is nice when going down the road. Also has nightwatch feature and weather alert and channels so you can easily keep up with the ever changing weather while driving. This is definately their best radio yet and am extremmely satisfied. Walmart .com has the best price around.
I just installed the Cobra 29 LX BT Classic CB Radio with Bluetooth in my car and it is great the sound and the quality of the CB is perfect . and easy to install and the directions are simple to read.
Best cobra radio I've ever owned. The features: CB channel scan,4(four) color screen, weather channels and alerts will help me on the road. All the new stuff takes some getting used to. Should have control knobs and key settings down in the next few weeks. This is not a plain CB Radio, it's a keep in touch with other company frequencies , channel 19 and your own frequency all at the same time. The Bluetooth hands free (legal) will help any driver keep more concentration on the road,professional or pleasure driver. Weather hits out of the blue and the scan feature keeps the most up to date warnings coming, even when unit is off. weather alerts will sound out from NOAA weather radio network nation wide. One of the things I've not mastered yet is the Voice Recognition App for sending messages (text) and E Mail through the smart phone and hearing (reading ) over the CB speaker. Download the names and number on your phone and you know who calling from announcement on CB speaker. Clock, timer, SWR Calibration, instant emergency ch 9 this radio has it all. That's right this is no plain old CB radio

This price is definitely better than anyone else's by $50. Works good so far. I've noticed certain antenna's may not work with this unit. I got a K40 trucker antenna that when hooked up, the unit kept saying "antenna warning". I bought a cheap antenna from Walmart & it works great. I've talked to truckers 30 miles away and reception was good. It doesn't seem to matter what antenna's hooked up it still gets great reception. Great unit for the price. Will recommend.
You need to be really close to the bluetooth speaker for the person on the call to be able to hear you.

Overall nice radio. The bluetooth feature is awesome. The different display colors to choose from were a very nice addition. I really liked the clock and the night time lighting. The reason I gave it 3 stars was due to the fact that I only had it hooked up one day before something happened to the volume. The volume seemed to just cut in and out and finally faded away to where you could barely hear anything.
Radio is very good and works as advertised. However, this radio is NOT for someone who drives at night. The dimming function only works for the blue part of the radio. Most of this radio's face is actually lit up by bright white lights that WILL NOT DIM. Very irritating for a trucker who drives all night long. Have to keep my ball cap tilted sideways to keep the white lights out of my eyes; and this is a little annoying. Other than that, I would recommend this radio to everyone!
I WILL HAVE TO TAKE TO A CB RADIO REPAIR SHOP. DOES NOT APPEAR TO WORK. I ALREADY HAD IT INSTALL
