Best little shop vac! My full vacuum didn't come with accessories, so I needed something like this. This little guy is awesome! Light weight and powerful. It has a really long cord, too. I loved it so much, I bought another one to keep in my classroom.
My father has a larger shop vac and I would lug it up and down the stairs; so when I found this smaller version that has the same power suction I had to get it. I love it!
I bought this for my son, I own one and I felt that he needed one. For now he is bedbound so I'm cleaning his place. This little machine does the same or better work than a bigger shop vac the only thing is that it doesn't hold as much dirt but for the price it's well worth it. I'm even thinking that I might replace mine with this one. Great suction power, a little noisy but again great price for a great little machine.
I was looking for a small, powerful, vac to clean drapes and windows. The model sold in the Wal-Mart stores was the size but didn't have the accessories I wanted. Luckily I checked Walmart on line. They had the exact 1.5 hp vac with the complete set of accessories and a 7' hose and two extensions for added reach. Along with the internal bag that keeps fine dust and particles from coming back into the air, it was just what i wanted. My only wish would be that Shop Vac will make a HEPA rated bag for this size vac in the future.
Great for detailing cars ! strong enough and be able to cover all the areas of a car !
I have been using a big old Shop Vac as my household vacuum for several years now. My husband would also use it every time he was cleaning the vehicles. It has always worked great, but had a few downfalls. The cord was too short, we always had to use an extension cord, and it was too big. We finally banned the old one to outside and bought this awesome little thing. The power cord is so long, no need for an extension cord, and all the attachments are awesome!! I can't wait to install the wall mount bracket and hang it up! For a Shop Vac, it also looks very nice, and it is all I need to clean the whole house.
I bought this shop vac for my garage. I wanted something small that I could carry around while capturing stink bugs and also for cleaning out my cars. Yes, it is small. If you plan on using it a lot or for larger clean-ups you will fill up the bag quickly. The bag will hold maybe a half gallon NOT 1.5 gallons as the description implies. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like you could use the usual foam and cloth filters instead of the bag. Things I like are the long power cord, good suction, light weight and the ability to hang it on a wall. It's only slightly quieter than my older, larger shop vac so I still throw on the ear protectors while using it. It's exactly what I was looking for.
I really like this vac. It does an excellent job. However, it is SO light, it falls over time to time when I am using the extender wands. I also miscalculated size and could most likely use a slightly larger size. I like it enough that I have NO intention of returning it. It is a very powerful little machine.
Great vac. Lot of power. My only complaint is that the hose is a little stiff and uncomfortable.
I was really hoping they had improved the sound on these vacs but no such luck. It might be a tad quieter than the old red style wet-dry vac but it's far from quiet.Quiet is like the sound of air blowing outside or a honeywell 16" stand fan but not this vacuum. It has good suction. I didn't like how the base isn't detachable if you want it to be but I think it has screws in it but I don't want to screw and unscrew just to have that option myself, as I had planned to use it inside my car mainly. I miss the old style turquoise 1 gal wet dry vac that isn't made anymore even if it was noisy too but it seems with time, things always change and they discontinue items,it never fails especially if it's a good one worth keeping long term. I didn't like how the crevice tool was so short. All the accessory options were a nice feature but I wish the hose and tools had been a "gray" and not black but that's just picky me. I didn't like the bag option and how tiny the area is for debris compared to the 'non bag' type but that's just me. I loved the turquoise/blue and gray on the canister base itself which was what first of all got my attention but overall for all the negatives to me it wasn't worth to keep it especially considering the price and noise level. It's definitely not one you'd want to use with a baby sleeping or even to have a dog near it as it shows in the photo, that would be loud to any dog,even us humans. If you don't mind waking up the neighbors and or guests, it's a decent vacuum but again,it's just my personal likes and opinion.
