Simply its great product and life saver. I used it almost everyday. I used it to clean my pool. The vacuum was outside the pool only the tube Which is long enough to reach the middle of the pool and took away the last drop of water and dirt from our pool. The built in pump is great, it make the job so easy and enjoyable. No need to empty the vacuum tank every time it filled with water. It was great purchase. I also used it to clean our cars and to clean our bathrooms.
Works better than I expected. Tackles tough uneven floors with ease.
I rated this a 4 because I HOPE I put everything together okay. I plugged it in ...and it worked. I only used the dry vac part. There were gadgets and filters and other things there which I hope were for the wet vac operation. I just put them in a bag to save them in case I use the wet vac part. For me.....the directions and products were not clear. Remember, not everyone out here is a rocket scientist. In some cases, this could be the first introduction re: vacuum installation. There were 3 or more explanations in different languages, too. Just keep it simple. Suggestion: Parts needed to dry vac as opposed to parts needed for wet vac. It was pretty intimidating......for me. On the happy side.....it was a great color!:)):) How's that?
If you purchase this Shop Vac be sure to purchase a plastic garden hose shut off valve such as this one http://www.walmart.com/ip/Orbit-Plastic-Hose-Shut-Off-Valve/16332360 at the same time and LEAVE IT ON THE SHOP VAC. I only have hoses with brass fittings and the cheap plastic connector for the hose on the Shop Vac twisted when I removed the hose and now it no longer works as a pump. This aspect of the design of this type of Shop Vac is extremely poor. Let the buyer beware.
